Stef, Re Dolphin, class categories have long been of marginal use; I'll speak for myself on that but suspect others would agree. Packages are of course extremely useful. Method categories are also quite useful, and Dolphin allows multiple categories to be assigned to a given method. Dolphin mixes virtual categories (computed by rules) with static ones maintained by the user (and serialized as part of packages). I can easily see where OB would get quite a speed boost out of it. Hi, I found the Font "Andika Basic"[2] which is an Open Source and Free- Software[1] Unicode-ready font made by the same people who brought us Gentium, the typeface for the nations. I suggest using Andika as the Pharo CI Font since it can be distributed along with Pharo and looks a little bit like Lucida Grande, the Mac-UI-font, but at the same time is more friendly and better readable[3]. According to the Andika Website, Andika is Swahili, which is spoken widely in southeastern regions of the African continent, and means "Write!". [Pharo-project] Incompatibility between Pharo and Seasidehosting

Hi, there is a problem with Pharo on Seasidehosting. Using a stock Pharo image 10225, installing Seaside from Universe, it works perfectly fine locally. As soon as I upload and run the image on Seasidehosting, it doesn't work anymore.(503: Service Temporarily Unavailable). There is nothing in the log files accessible through the seasidehosting admin interface. You can see the problem on http://diagen.seasidehosting.st. To reproduce: - download Pharo version 10225 (newer versions have the annoying MIME problem) - ScriptLoader new installingUniverse - In the Universe browser, install Seaside. - Upload the image and the changes file to a seasidehosting account - Start the image Since all Pier images are now based on Pharo, this is a problem for all new pier users. -- Damien Cassou http://damiencassou.seasidehosting.st

hi there, first of all thanks for making Pharo. I can see there is a lot to do but I'm so glad to see an open smalltalk evoluting in such a direction. I wanted to give a try with a web app I'm porting to seaside 2.9a2 but it won't load (I mean seaside 2.9a2). It's complaining about problems related to MIMEDocuments. Looks like the ones in squeak 3.10.2 are first class objects instead of strings, the mime database and such. I'm missing some update? thanks and all the best sebastian

Gary, Watery2 looks better and better :-) Great! One question regarding the shadow: Now the active window has a translucent shadow (like macos), very nice. But it's turned off and replaced with the hard non-translucend Morphic shadow while moving the window. Would it be possible to render the same shadow, even wen picking up windows? Maybe I just wasn't able to follow the conversation properly, but if you open a Transcript in 10243 (dev) and, say, search for the class "Morph," you will get: ERROR: Morph class>>overridesSelectors ERROR: Morph class>>superSenderSelectors ERROR: Morph class>>conflictsSelectors ERROR: Morph class>>overridesSelectors ERROR: Morph class>>superSenderSelectors ERROR: Morph class>>conflictsSelectors In fact, anytime you do anything (save a method, etc...), it seems you get these messages, and yet things seem to be working. These are more than 100 additional named colors like #paleGoldenrod, #mediumOrchid, #thistle, etc. I'd vote against adding them since I don't see their merit. Other opinions?
