Hi guys, I'm wondering, why? Hi Mariano, I've made a FFI library on Squeaksource that works on Linux. http://www.squeaksource.com/Cryptography/PasswordHashingFFI-PaulDeBruicker.… You need to install the 32 bit versions of libcrypt and libxcrypt if you're using a 64 bit linux os. Using crypt can hash passwords using MD5, DES, SHA256, SHA512. Using libxcrypt can hash passwords using bcrypt. If its for a new installation use bcrypt or SHA512 to hash the passwords. bcrypt is better because its slower, and allegedly future proof. to get a hashed password use BCryptLinuxFFI bcrypt:'mypassword' to check it against a stored hash use: BCryptLinuxFFI check:'mypassword' against: storedHash

Hi, I added a new issue (that I think it could be see as an improvement, not an issue) that is related to debugging a test case written with SUnit. The problem is that when you restart a test in the debugger (either by pressing the restart button or compiling the method again) the changes made by the test to the objects initialized in the #setUp are not rollbacked. This change sends the messages #tearDown and #setUp to the test when restarting it, therefore letting the test in the same state as when it was run in the first place. Hi guys, My 1.3 #13299 image is blocked again, but just UI not responding to any input events, while Aida web app server is running smoothly in backrgound. >From Transcript I can see that last action was a new image backup procedure, which is done simply by : OSProcess waitForCommand: 'cp some.image some-bck.image'. This procedure is called from a background process and report to Transcript its start and end. Is there something wrong with that? Or is some interference with OSProcess semaphores? (I saw such suspicious thing once before). In any case, is there a way to unblock image now? Ctrl or Alt . doesn't help. [Pharo-project] FileSystem. Possible FSReference rename

Hello, I hear many people does not like name FSReference in FileSystem package. Me too. Its not clear to me. But it is main object for end user. Maybe we can rename it to FSLocation? I frequently name variables that point to some file/dir like imagesLocation, settingsLocation and others. Therefore it is natural to me have FSLocation instead FSReference. What do you think?
