Hi, I did a pass over the bug tracker -> I started to check all issues tagged 2.0 and removed the tag for those that are clearly no show stoppers (this needs to be continued, we are now at 88 issues tagged for 2.0) -> I went through all issues that have not seen any activity in 2012. Those I either tagged for 3.0 (in the cases that it was obvious that the issue was relevant). Some I closed with the note to the issue submitter to check the issue in 2.0 (and to send a mail to the list in cases where man power is needed). [Pharo-project] [Update] Zinc-SSO OAuth 2.0 Alpha Code & Live Demos

Hi, As mentioned here before, there is a project underway to add support for OAuth & OpenID to Zinc HTTP Components and thus to Pharo Smalltalk as well. Zinc-SSO as the project is called is not yet finished but we would like to share some alpha code and our live demos: based on Jan van de Sandt's earlier CloudforkSSO work, we now have OAuth2 basically working. Partial documentation can be found here https://github.com/svenvc/docs/blob/master/zinc/zinc-sso-paper.md The document includes pointers to the repository where the development takes place. Note that the document itself is far from finished. This is not a subject where loading some code gives you a working demo since there is some setup to be done. Therefor we orginanized two live demos: http://sso.stfx.eu http://sso.doit.st Both allow you to use your existing Google, Facebook or Microsoft credentials (username/password) to authenticate and login to a simple demo web application. You actually grant the Zinc SSO Demo application access to view some of your basic user data - since the demo application then receives that grant it knows that you are the owner of that identity and that it can thus use it as a login. Also, as your browser probably stays logged in to the larger provider, this effectively comes down to single sign on (SSO). The first demo is running on top of Zinc only, the second demo uses Seaside for its user interface. Both use the same Zinc-SSO-OAuth2-Core code, Zinc HTTP Components, Zodiac and NeoJSON. [Pharo-project] An issue with Zinc-HTTP

Trying to load Zinc-HTTP, I encounter a problem: Zinc-HTTP package removes #asZnUrl and #asZnMimeType from String (added by Zinc-Resource-Meta-Core). I don't fully understand why it occurs. The workaround is straightforward: to add those methods manually after load. Best regards, Dennis Schetinin

Hey there, I' ve been thinking about possible implementations for adding curryfication to block closures. Here's how it would be used, following by the implementation. addBinary := [:p1 :p2 | p1 + p2] . add3 := addBinary curry: 3. add3 curry: 5. 8 BlockClosure >> curry: aParameter (numArgs = 0) ifTrue: [Error signal.]. (numArgs = 1) ifTrue: [^ self value: aParameter.]. (numArgs = 2) ifTrue: [ ^ [:p1 | self value: aParameter value: p1] ]. (numArgs = 3) ifTrue: [ ^ [:p1 :p2 | self value: aParameter value: p1 value: p2] ]. (numArgs = 4) ifTrue: [ ^ [:p1 :p2 :p3 | self value: aParameter value: p1 value: p2 value: p3] ]. Yes, I know the implementation works only for a fixed number of arguments. Any ideas on how to dynamically create a block with an arbitary number of parameters.? Maybe creating the source code string and compiling it? Basically I 'd like to create this block : ^ [:p1 .. :pn | self value: aParameter value: p1 ... value: pn ] Thanks, Seba

[Pharo-project] Error 400 when pushing to Smalltalk with metacello

When I use the metacello convenience method #saveModifiedPackagesAndConfiguration: my package mcz uploads fine but then I often get a 400 error for the configuration mcz (I would not say systematic but most of the time).
