I'm pretty sure the responsibility falls to the loader. I'm not too familiar with it but if I wanted to be I would probably start tracing from McVersionLoader. Do your pool references end up being valid? That is the most important but I agree it would be an annoyance to see those messages in the Transcript. [ann] gtspotter: a moldable interface for spotting objects

Hi, Alex Syrel, Andrei Chis and I are happy to announce a new addition to the Glamorous Toolkit: GTSpotter, a novel interface for spotting objects. GTSpotter has two goals: - Provide a uniform yet moldable interface that can work on any object, and - Handle searching through arbitrary levels of object nesting. We think this will have a significant impact on the development workflow in Pharo. Pillar and figures

I am writing a book using Pillar. Here is the problem I do have: I put something like Some text explaining XYZ.. +SomeCaption>file://figures/somefigure.png+ Some other text... But the figure is not staying between the two paragraphs for some reason. Anyone having an explanation and a way to have the thing stay where it should? TIA Phil

GTSpotter looks like a nice way to build end-user applications too. An address book is a simple example of that, with parties and addresses Clear the address book ABAddressbookModel reset. Add someone ABAddressbookModel default addFirst: 'Stephan' last:'Eggermont'. Add a telephone number to someone ABAddressbookModel default parties first addTelephone: '+31-6-55555555'. Open a spotter on the address book GTSpotterMorph new width: 400; doLayout; spotterModel: (GTSpotter on: ABAddressbookModel default); openCenteredInWorld How do I add actions to add a person/address, edit it, or remove it? I just noticed RBSmalllintContext>>primitiveComputerLiterals doesn't seem to follow the typical pattern for that naming convention. Without digging to really understand it, I just wondered if it maybe should be called #computeLiteralsForPrimitive, or #basicComputerLiterals, or something else... cheers -ben
