Cannot keep image running.

Updating my remote pharo to latest codebase..

Hi, all.. I think have most everything figured out on running and managing my remote image. I have been running i headless and using PharmIDE.. but i canât figure out how to update a package to the latest version.. In my case, i have a few packages with source code, tests, etc. set up with a metacello configuration. Normally, I would just use Â VNC and monticello to update it while it was still running.. but VNC is causing me all sorts of issues, and i feel like thereâs a better way. since this is in alpha, i am keeping data in the image.. but once this is no longer an issue, i will just build a new new image every time with a script.. but for now, what is the best way to handle this? Problem with PharmIDE

Hey, all.. I am checking out PharmIDE.. This is BOSS.. but in testing, i lost connection to my remote.. and now, when i try to evaluate: remotePharo := PrmRemoteIDE connectTo: (TCPAddress ip: #[138 197 11 201] port: 40423). I get: Â Error: Peer should not change id when it was already identified i also tried this: PrmRemoteIDE disconnectAll . and got the same thing.. any ideas? Are we able to run pharo images in a read only environment?

Hi - I am trying to run a pharo image in lambda (as an experiment) - however I get an error from Pharo about not being able to write to the changes file? As I am just evaluating some code - Iâm not really coding, so donât need a changes file - is there a command line option to not require it? Also, am I running pharo the most efficient way - Iâm using eval on the command line and referencing a class with a class method - but is this the best way? Where did the XMLDOMParse go?

Hi All, Question: Is there any Pharo "endorsed" XML support for Pharo v6.0 and if so, where can I find it? I'm new to Pharo and I'm currently cutting my teeth into v6.0 attempting to program the XML-Browser example on Pharocasts. I fully realise that that example is based on v1.4 of Pharo. However is struck me as strange that any support for XML lacks from v6.0 and even the (default) Monticello packages repo. Can some one provide me with some hints, Thanks for reading. RFBSever not surviving disconnection

Hi, all..Â I have installed RFBServer, and the issue that i am having is: Using the client âchicken of the VNCâ when i disconnect from the server, i get to halts, and the following messages in the Transcript: RFB: caught ConnectionClosed: Connection close while waiting for data. RFB: caught ConnectionTimedOut: send data issue; data not sent i canât proceed until i hit âproceedâ on both halts.. the problem is .. if i run this on the remote server, i just get stuck in a halt state.. any ideas?
