Hi guys I'm thinking aloud... I was wondering if we could not take advantage of a new class: Selector. MethodDict would only contain selectors and not symbols. I remember that I talked about that with hernan. Stef

Postmark email library

Hi guys, I've made a simple wrapper around the Postmark API. It lets you send emails without dealing with a SMTP server. Package browser?

I am attempting to do the Pharo by Example book, but a package browser (which is used in the examples) is not in the 1.1.1 or 1.2 image. Should I still use categories? If I create a package in Monticello browser I am not able to add classes or anything (not as far as I could see). Just starting out using Pharo, so apologies if these questions are already answered elsewhere.

Zinc crashes an image.

Hi - I'm pretty sure I'm having the same problem Phillipe had/described in this message: http://forum.world.st/Zinc-crashing-image-at-start-up-td3785797.html At least the PharoDebug.log is the same. It happens on both the most recent Cog and interpreter VM. Is there a way to recover from this? I could follow Sean's instructions from this thread if necessary: http://forum.world.st/Fwd-Oops-I-put-a-halt-in-a-startup-method-td3800729.h… Or is there a way to extract changes from a changes file for one image into another image? I'd rather fix the broken image but if its not possible I'd then just try to load those changes I don't have. Thanks for any guidance you can provide. Paul

Versionner a GUI for metacello

Hi all, I would like present you ``Versionner''. Versionner is a GUI for metacello. It supports a simple working style, providing a basic UI set to handle versions: (i)create a configuration (ii) update an application (iii) commit and save all the packages of an application (iv) load an application from a repository. The goal of Versionner, is to not write a metacello version by hand again. Saving and committing all your monticello package, and creating a new metacello version is a one click operation. Need help with Pharo 1.4 packages.

Hi everybody We really want to build a "vitrine" showroom of Pharo and we would you to participate. We want to build a web page with all these successes and show them to the world. :) We would like to get from you a three slides document: slide one: a sexy picture and a teaser / who you are. slide two: what is it how cool is it. slide three: what cool pharo techno you used or developed. how to test forked morph rendering

Hi, I have a piece of code that builds a morph in a parallel process, and I would like to test that it builds the right thing. The building of the morph can take long. My current solution is to add a delay, but this is ugly and unreliable: "setup and trigger the morph building" (Delay forMilliseconds: 1000) wait.
