copyAllTo: does not do what its comment says: '/tmp/toto/titi' asFileReference ensureCreateDirectory. '/tmp/dest' asFileReference ensureCreateDirectory. '/tmp/toto' asFileReference copyAllTo: '/tmp/dest' asFileReference 'toto' directory is not copied contrary to what wrote the method comment. What is wrong, the comment or the method? If the receiver is a file, the file will be copied; if a directory, the directory and its contents will be copied recursively. Error: cannot create OS pipe

I've been using CommandShell for some operations on OSX with Pharo5. After doing a number of "PipeableOSProcess command:" calls (~150), I get an error inside ExternalPipe:makePipe. For my purposes, I can get around this by restarting Pharo and limiting the number of operations each session. But, it is an indication that some resource is not getting freed when the PipeableOSProcess is deleted (garbage collected). I just thought I'd mention the bug. Cheers, Jeff

Pharo 5.0 Tiny Feature Request

I know our policy is to only backport severe bug fixes, but I have one method I'd like added to 5.0 which would make my life a lot easier. Since NBMacShell has been removed, there doesn't seem to be a built-in way to send simple shell commands, which has broken all my project/image load scripts. I propose the following addition which will restore that basic functionality: LibC class>>system: command ^ self ffiCall: #(#int #system #(#char #* #command)) module: self It doesn't change any existing behavior, so seems relatively risk-free. Customizing semantic analysis for AST nodes

Hi, I have two questions about semantic analysis. Iâm working with expressions a lot now. And I want to highlight them, but I donât want to pay attention for undeclared variables. So in terms of analysis it would be nice to know global variables, but I donât care about having marked others as undeclared. Second thing is more of a disturbing functionality. If you have `ast` variable which is an RBPatternVariableNode and you do `ast doSemanticAnalysis` after that ast may end up being a RBVariableNode. I find this annoying because I donât expect my object to change just because of an analysis. Uko
