Anyone else getting an empty Catalog? class selection is lost when browsing a method in and switching in hierarchy mode

It means that I have to remove all the " inside to string to be able to express tests. Stef

Imagine that you are developping a cross dialect library, say for Squeak/Pharo and why not Gemstone. Imagine that this library has a few dependencies to some other libraries, either Core like Alien/FFI or more exotic third party also available in other dialects. The question are: -1) where are you supposed to maintain your own ConfigurationOf*? -2) where are you supposed to find the ConfigurationOf* dependencies? Once upon a time, the answer would have been http://www.squeaksource.com/MetacelloRepository But now, what is it? I see surprisingly few updates here (apart from Sven and a few others). How can the Metacello feature of supporting cross-dialect work if the dialect specific configuration of dependencies are scattered all around the web? Do the CPAN or PyPI have to change their URL each time a new release of perl or python is released? Careless decisions in this area can easily sabotage the cross-dialect initiative. Spec menu shortcut

Is it known that Spec models ignore menu shortcuts? at least some of them, TreeModel and FastTableModel. Example: | example | example := FastTableModel new. example items: (1 to: 10); menu: [ | aMenu | aMenu := MenuModel new. aMenu addGroup: [ :aGroup | aGroup addItem: [ :anItem | anItem name: 'Halt'; shortcut: $h command; action: [ 1halt ] ] ]. aMenu buildWithSpecAsPopup ]; openWithSpec. Hi, First, let me be clear: I *like* sublimish theme (not for my use, but I like it), and I like (a lot) the windows list on spotter, and I like in general all this new additions. And I know, most of those additions are usability enhancements so a good thing. But can you guys stop pushing new features into a (in theory) frozen version? Pharo 7 will arrive soonâ¦ *if* we can fix all things missing. If I can suggest an orientation, it would be good, for those that use linux and mac (windows is not ready), to test and help fix 64bits version. There are still plenty of bugs to fix there, like for example why Spotter does not shows search line. Last week I added support to Athens and SDL2 in 64bits but that meant: - some important changes in UFFI - discover something that seems is failing on callbacks for Cairo (no idea if it is a callbacks problem or an image problem that causes a callback problem). I would say all this and the fact we are working on 64bits in general deserves a lot of testing.
