[Pharo-project] Monticello configuration still broken

I try to load Magma r41.1 throught Monticello configuration. This last one is still broken in Pharo and I need to apply the usual fixes MonticelloConfigurations-cmm.44.mcz, Monticello-SR.315.mcz to get it loaded (was previously reported). For Pharo to be a developer friendly environment, it is a must to include these fixes, even waiting for a better solution, because newbies will get burn there. -- http://blog.ofset.org/hilaire

refactor instance variables | accessors used to figure out which instance variables needed to be added and give you a chance to accept or reject the proposed list. After loading the latest updates, it now presents a list of instance variables, letting you pick one and only one to add. The new behavior is very awkward when you've just added several iVars to a class. The old behavior was too "all or nothing". I'd love to see one that presented all of the proposed accessors and let you accept them all or reject selective accessors. -david

It's not a question of compatibility, the question is where will Polymorph be continued - in SqS/Pharo or SqS/UIEnhancements or both? I didnt notice (until now) that the integrated plymorph packages are now also in the SqS/Pharo repository. A new branch or just a move? Same question applies for other packages integrated later. [Pharo-project] 10183 freeze on Gatesware

I just downloaded 10183 to an XP machine, copied a VM and changes and dragged the image to the vm. It starts just fine, but the GUI is frozen. The VM system menu opens up and works. Hi Damien, Just to make sure that I fully understand your email. Are you suggesting the history feature should be integrated into the Standard SUnit? I haven't got the time to check what is in Testing@squeaksource yet. I hope to do it before next week. Keith, do you think it is a good idea to include the history feature in Testing? David, dont use the changeset. If you have the latest pharo image (#10185) you can use use ScriptManager loadSeaside29 to get the latest. Note: before running that just remove the line in this method that installs "RSS-Squeak-Core". This package was kicked on Monday by pmm (see [1]). An update for ScriptManager is also in the pharo inbox. He is the only one with commit rights on the SqSrc project and pharo is also useable from standard Squeak. If he accepts it we just have to integrate the new mcz into pharo from the known polymorph location. Damien, SqueakMap appears to be absent from that list - I had missed that. I just took another run at it, bypassing the one-click image, and the package loader was happier. Update the list from the net, and it seems to work. Shout complained about dependencies, but since it is on the list, I am not too worried. My existing image serves, but I am eager to build a new one when appropriate. Bill Wilhelm K.
