[Pharo-project] colored list items ?
by Alexandre Bergel Feb. 4, 2009

Feb. 4, 2009

Hi! Is there a way to get list items colored? one background color for each line/item. It may be interesting to extend the debugger to assign a color per class or something... [Pharo-project] Window buttons
by Janko Mivšek Feb. 4, 2009

Feb. 4, 2009

Hi Pharo team, I tried the last pharo-dev an besides all nice things you guys improve I also have some issues. First and foremost is the position and look of window buttons (minimize, maximize, close) which are now on the left and in three different colors, without knowing, what those colors mean. This is what I see on my Linux and I suppose this is an OS/X look&feel, am I right? I tried to find where in settings can I change that back to Linux/Win look@feel but without success. My question therefore is, how to change window buttons to be more Linux/Windows friendly? I'd also suggest that such platform specific look&feel is set automatically when image is started, the same goes also for middle mouse button swap. Both usability features are currently very user unfrendly for non-Mac users. Best regards Janko -- Janko Mivšek AIDA/Web Smalltalk Web Application Server http://www.aidaweb.si

[Pharo-project] Polymorph and OB Browser Colors Quick Solution
by Rob Rothwell Feb. 4, 2009

Feb. 4, 2009

I know OB has some issues with the Polymorph themes such that you are always left with the standard browser window color border in the window panes of an OB Browser. At any rate, a simple "Preferences setPreference: #browserWindowColor toValue: (Color r: 0.815 g: 0.811 b: 0.811)" seems to set it to a decent color for the Watery2 or Watery theme, but I was wondering if there is a better place to set something like this more...dynamically...when different themes are chosen. Thanks, Rob

[Pharo-project] download link in pharo webpage
by Mariano Martinez Peck Feb. 3, 2009

Feb. 3, 2009

First of all, I can believe how beautiful Pharo web page is now. Very cool. Nice design. One little suggestion (sorry if you already receive it): Perhaps its better yo have another link like "home", "about" and so on, but for "downloads". And move what it is now in "about" to "downloads". I think this could be more intuitive. I spend some minutes searching it, till I found it there (in about link). In conclusion, congratulation for the new site. cheers, Mariano
