[Pharo-project] Issue 3775 in pharo: FileList shouldn't inherit from StringHolder
by pharo＠googlecode.com March 4, 2011

March 4, 2011

Status: Fixed Owner: Benjamin...@gmail.com New issue 3775 by Benjamin...@gmail.com: FileList shouldn't inherit from StringHolder http://code.google.com/p/pharo/issues/detail?id=3775 FileList reuse only one method from StringHolder which is: contentsSelection "Return the interval of text in the code pane to select when I set the pane's contents" ^ 1 to: 0 "null selection" It was used to set the selection of a PluggableTextMorph, so I just put nil instead :) Attachments: FixFileList.1.cs 655 bytes

Re: [Pharo-project] Issue 1042 in pharo: documentation/help menu
by pharo＠googlecode.com March 4, 2011

March 4, 2011

Comment #3 on issue 1042 by tony.fleig: documentation/help menu http://code.google.com/p/pharo/issues/detail?id=1042 There is indeed a Help item in the World menu, but it does not lead to anywhere that shortcut keys are listed. The original issue, i.e. that the list of shortcut keys is nowhere available has not been addressed. I think this issue should be re-opened. I agree wholeheartedly that this list is of immense value to newcomers to the system and should be available and easy to find.

[Pharo-project] Issue 3781 in pharo: Finder version 30 does not report all selectors - 2 problems
by pharo＠googlecode.com March 4, 2011

March 4, 2011

Status: New Owner: ---- New issue 3781 by DougEdmu...@gmail.com: Finder version 30 does not report all selectors - 2 problems http://code.google.com/p/pharo/issues/detail?id=3781 Package Finder-BenjaminVanRyseghem.30.mcz Two problems with the Finder UI. Problem 1: Using Selectors mode, if a class has the same method name for instances and classes, Finder only lists the class entry. Example: the HelpBrowser class has both an instance and class method for 'open'. Instance method: open "Open the receivers window" self refresh. window openInWorld. and class method: open ^self openOn: SystemHelp Using Finder tool, type in 'open' in the box (set mode to Selectors). Notice that only "HelpBrowser class" appears in the list. The "instance" method (which would show up as HelpBrowser without the word "class" after it) does not appear on the list. Problem 2. Same example, change mode from Selectors to Classes, and type "HelpBrowser" in the box. Notice now that only the instance method for 'open' appears. The class method "open" does not appear.

[Pharo-project] LDAPlayer
by Olivier Auverlot March 4, 2011

March 4, 2011

Hi, I have uploaded today an updated version of LDAPlayer with some minor corrections for Pharo 1.1.1. All seems work perfectly. If you need an LDAP connector for Pharo, it's a good solution. I will try to produce a tutorial in the next days. http://www.squeaksource.com/@I6MXr0KZ8IlD2Fnn/CKF0ucuM Best regards Olivier ;-) www.auverlot.fr
