Old code would decrement branch even if backward branch checked for events and did a process switch, potentially converting frames at arbitrary unmappable pcs, not just backward branches. Neaten and comment the code. Neaten and update the pc mapping tests for multiple bytecode sets and for sets with extensions. Change default count to 40 from 10 to reduce number of startup methods jitted. Allow warnings to be treated as errors, adding -blockonwarn flag on Mac & Unix. -- best, Eliot

Smalltalk-80 has never supported Fraction literals. They're always written as division expressions. Fraction answers false to isLiteral. Just because it worked that way doesn't mean it was right. I suspect no one noticed. Allowing Fraction literals feels like a big change to me. I made a modified version of Fraction >> #printOn:base: which outputs the > literal format if possible. First commit with Git-Filetree

So I have started using gitfiletree and the first commit seems to commit only .filetree file and not my package folder. I had to add the package folder with a "git add" and of course make a commit of it .Is this normal ? the process I have followed is this 1) Create a github repo intialized with a readme and license file 2) git clone the repo to my hd 3) in a clean pharo image install gitfiletree as described in Git and Pharo chapter in Pharo for the Enterprise 4) in monticello add repository +gitfiletree and then choose the git folder 5) select a package and click save 6) add the commit info My other commits dont need any extra step just a simple "git push".

Floating point literals in debugger

Hello. When I have the following expression {1-1e-6. 1e-6. 0} in the code and then I debug it I get {(1 - '<an unprintable nonliteral value>'). '<an unprintable nonliteral value>'. 0}. Is it a known problem or should I report an issue on debug tracker? Best regards, Natalia
