Great to see Pharo 2.0 released. Too bad I cannot make it to the Pharo/Moose days, but Diego will show some of the things we have been working on. I've been thinking about what would help Pharo development the most. I think making sure that everyone can get up-and-running with his own ci-server would help a lot. I noticed there are lots of parts available, I'm just missing the story about putting it all together. And I know that takes a lot of time to create these things, as the feedback cycle is much slower than with smalltalk development. Would it be possible to provide a virtualbox vm with an installed jenkins and a full set of jobs, or even better, chef/puppet/vagrant scripts to create them? At the Pharo conference would be perfect? The Software Composition Group carries out research in software analysis and programming language design and implementation, with a view to enabling software evolution. The SCG is led by Prof. Oscar Nierstrasz and is part of the Institute of Computer Science and Applied Mathematics (IAM) at the University of Berne. [Pharo-project] some little aif files

Hi guys the sound system requires to have some sounds loaded in the sound library. Befre it was croak, swirlâ¦. Now since the files used to create the objects are probably gone from age, I would like to find some little aif files that we can load in the system. does anybody have an idea of where I can find such aif free files? I could serialize the objects from the squeak image but I do not know if this is a good idea. Stef

still some bugs left, especially with selectors with "strange" characters such as $: ;): http://pharo.gforge.inria.fr/doc/1.4/ http://pharo.gforge.inria.fr/doc/2.0/ Once the configuration for seaside is released I can update the config of webdoc to load everything under 2.0. Currently it will fail due to the dependency to seaside.

[Pharo-project] iOS VM > debugging flags

Hello, I am working on things at the VM level and the CMake files aren't including flags for debugging (I do end up in ARM assembly on bugs etc, which is interesting but not that much my cup of tea). Where/what should I use in order to get those flags set for the compilation and link? Somewhere in the CMake files I guess. I am currently looking around but if you know how, telling me would be sweet! TIA Phil
