Hello. In Pharo web site the link to the latest beta image is broken. Go to http://www.pharo-project.org/pharo-download/beta-2-0 and link "Pharo 2.0 one-click" point to http://ci.inria.fr/pharo/view/Pharo%202.0/job/Pharo-2.0/lastSuccessfulBuild… May be that the link is temporarily unavailable, or it isn't correct? Hi, i work with Pharo 1.4. I have a class with some methods. Now i'm interested to open a view to compare and see the difference relative two methods of a class. I see into method version the Compare to current buttons. It display the change. I can create this view relative to two methods of one class ? Thanks, Dario

[Pharo-project] Pharo by Example book is top quality

I want to congratulate people responsible for Pharo by example book that I got from Amazon.Â At first I question myself for buying this since I already have the pdf but I wanted to support the community in my own way.Â Do some of the money go back to pharo ? I own loads of computer books but this one is just great, love the paper, the cover, the pictures are high quality even the size is optimal. I was expecting this to look cheap and I was pleasantly suprised since the 1 second I got in my hands.Â I am already 1 / 3 to it and still having loads of fun reading this. Keep up the great work. When I finish it I will add an amazon review though I dont think it will be anything else than a happy one.

Hi! I am moving my SS stuff over to Smalltalkhub and I am discovering some things as I go: - There is no proper way to *list* existing projects or members. Need! :) Also, I wonder how google can index projects - I don't think it can. - There is no proper way to search for a member by full name or part of username/full name. The search field can find a person if you type in the exact *username*. So you can find me if you search for... "gokr" (exactly) but not for "GÃ¶ran" or "Krampe" or any part there of. - There is a bug so if you edit your User account settings (sometimes called "Edit profile" sometimes called "Settings" :) - then if you enter a full name that is different from the username you signed up with (as I did) then the projects you have created before will disappear from the Dashboard. Oops! They are not gone however, they are still located at ~username/Projectname - but Dashboard seems to mistakenly search for them using "Full name" instead of username. Finally a "workaround" to find people: If you edit a project and go to add contributors field it turns out that it does "partial" search over Usernames - so typing in "okr" will find "gokr". But it doesn't search over Full name at all ... regards, GÃ¶ran PS. Yeah, I might check if I can help out with this...
