Hi, does GTDebugger support creation of new methods? Also not having tooltips on the buttons isn't entirely helpful. Thanks, Peter

XML Viewer and XML syntax highlighting

Hi, do we have some nice(r) XML viewer? GTInspector provides tree extension, however I find it often worse than looking at the raw contents (mainly because the tree view doesn't break lines) So my question is: do we have something better? And second (if we don't have something better): How would one go about implementing custom syntax highlighting? Thanks, Peter

Deleting an instance

I have the following question. I have created several instances of StringMorph. However those instances are not "available" to be handled by the halo. When I do a right click, the World menu informs me that those instance exist. Moreover, if I do StringMorph allInstances and printit, the array shows those instances. But I want to destroy them, delete them. Because even after closing the image they are still there. txs! Based on Phratch 4.0 we made some bug fixes and added new small features. Phratch is now on top of Pharo 4.0. The new features are: - languages are more stable. Thanks to the community for the feedback and the enhancement of the language files. - Add a "follow" option that allows one to see which block is currently executed. Phratch 4.1 is already available on phratch.com. ShouldNotImplement: #add: should not have been implemented in Array

Hi, I was coding today and after creating a method with only the name and a comment and trying to save it I started to get this message: "ShouldNotImplement: #add: should not have been implemented in Array". I don't see anything related to my code that can be generating this. The environment is still working, but the message is annoying. Any pointers on how to solve it? Cheers, Offray

load directive

Hi, I'm trying to see packages loaded by Metacello. So, in the past, I used to do: (ConfigurationOfXXX project version: #stable) record loadDirective to see the list of packages resolved and loaded. But in Pharo 4.0, the list of packages is empty. How can I obtain the list of packages with the loadDirective? tx in advance. usman P.S: I know GT-Inspector provides a map and a list of packages resolved "statically". I'm looking to see how the loaded packages are resolved by Metacello at "runtime".

I am having a look into Ecstatic.. What is the philosophy behind the comment in ETSite>>generateHtml ... "We copy all input files into the output directory to not make the input dirty. We copy all because the site will need not only pillar files but also other resources such as images or css files." That is, what is it that makes the input dirty? Also, ETSite>>configuration has the lines... cocoon inputFiles: (self outputDirectory allChildren select: [ :each | each extension = 'pillar' ]). which seems strange to be taking input files from the output directory. cheers -ben

Long text entry field

Hi all, Thanks to the Stephan's advices, I'm making progress in my small planning application and hopefully today I will have a working prototype. Now I would like to add some properties to the PlanColumn class, one of them is a long description of what the day is gonna be about. I can fill it using TextEntreDialogWindow, as in Stephan's code but I would like to have a more apt widget for long text. Unfortunately I can't find it by myself. Any pointers to where is it? How can I create a widget for a long text entry? Cheers, Offray
