Hi Everyone, As far as I can tell, JPEGReadWriter in Pharo 7 doesn't read (or write) the image metadata, e.g. title, keywords, exposure time, etc. Is anyone aware of a package that does? Thanks! Alistair

Seems that Pharo is a magnet for this kind of project. I've been writing one as well and using it to organize my research notes. Does anyone working on personal info mgmt tools want to talk offline? I expect we're running into some of the same issues, both conceptual and technical. Evan

I am learning Pharo and like to have printed copies of books. I see that âPharo 9 by Exampleâ has been released and it shows âGet printed (soon)" When will that be available on lulu to purchase? Also there is another book titled âPharo with Styleâ and there are two links to buy a printed version, but both sites are in French. Will this book be available for purchase on lulu at some point? Thanks!

Due to the untimely passing of Eelco Visser, members of his former research communities TU Delft, CWI, OOPSLA, SLE, and IFIP Working Groups 2.11 & 2.16 have joined in organizing the Eelco Visser Commemorative Symposium. The event will be held on the occasion of the first anniversary of his passing in April of next year. His research career started with studies at the University of Amsterdam and CWI, followed by appointments at Oregon Graduate Institute and Utrecht University. He was highly influential in the software language engineering and programming language design communities. His many scientific contributions about meta-languages and domain-specific languages have been of high importance in both the scientific and industrial communities. He was a founding member of IFIP Working Groups 2.11 (Program Generation) and 2.16 (Programming Language Design). Eelco Visserâs work on the cutting-edge language workbench Spoofax started with a ground-breaking publication in 2010, for which he received a Most Influential Paper award at OOPSLA 2020. As a strong advocate of tool-supported programming education, he led the development of WebLab, a learning management system that is in use for a range of programming languages and courses at TU Delft. FileTree to Tonel migration.

Hi, We're trying to organize better our Pharo repositories with a friend, adding properly named folders for the software part (what we call Apps/) and for the documentation part (what we cal Docs/), as we feel that src/ is kinda generic for a source code repository as everything is source. Anyway, while working on such renaming we created two different repositories, with two different file formats Tonel and FileTree and he continued to work on the last one, while I recreated the repository, with our ad-hoc convention (Apps/Package) in Tonel. Now, despite we're working in the same repository, he is working in a branch that contains code exported in FileTree format, while I'm working in the Tonel one. How can we migrate all the code to a single format? Seems that Tonel is the one choose, as far as we have seen in the documentation[1].
