[Issue tracker] push on old issues needed
by Marcus Denker Aug. 18, 2016

Aug. 18, 2016

Hi, The issue tracker is accumulating issues fast⦠lots of them a half-finished, yet saw no action for quite some time⦠Keep in mind that if *you* will not look at an issue you where involved in (or even created), chances are that *nobody* will look at it⦠it is your job to push it forward. (e.g. ask for help on the mailinglist or Slackâ¦) So please, everyone, have a look at old issues and push those forward that are ready or close those that are not relevant anymore⦠**every single issue resolved helps!!** https://pharo.fogbugz.com/f/filters/57/All-newest-first <https://pharo.fogbugz.com/f/filters/57/All-newest-first> Marcus

GTPlayground/Inspector print it
by Peter Uhnák Aug. 17, 2016

Aug. 17, 2016

Hi, does the print-it option always use only asString (or whatever it actually uses), or can it be modified in some way? I would like to modify it a bit, because for big numbers the default one is not easy to read, e.g. âinstead, I would like to see this âIt gives much better idea of the scale of the number. Can such thing be modified? Thanks, Peter

by stepharo Aug. 17, 2016

Aug. 17, 2016

While browsing the system I saw that the following method raised a temp read before written... It did not jump to my eyes. Working on something else.... PositionableStream>>upTo: anObject "Answer a subcollection from the current access position to the occurrence (if any, but not inclusive) of anObject in the receiver. If anObject is not in the collection, answer the entire rest of the receiver." | newStream element | newStream := (collection species new: 100) writeStream. [self atEnd or: [(element := self next) = anObject]] whileFalse: [newStream nextPut: element]. ^newStream contents
