[ANN] Fuel 5.0.0

Hi everyone, I'm happy to announce Fuel version 5.0.0 today. The changes to 4.0.0 aren't huge but I've had to adjust the format once more. 5.0.0 comes with full support for stateful traits, i.e. traits with instance variables. Hi, Pharo Oracle Call Interface (https://github.com/Ironirc/Pharo-Oracle-Call-Interface) is a new project that is currently under development. It was started and implemented by Ivo Roefs. This library allows you to connect to an Oracle SQL RDBMS from Pharo (versions 8 and up). It provides a binding with Oracle's OCI (also known as the Oracle Call Interface) using FFI. Usage Once correctly installed on your local computer, you use OciClient to interact with the Oracle database: | client rows | client := OciClient new environmentString: 'pharotst202112_medium'; username: 'SCOTT'; password: 'TIGER'; yourself. rows := client query: 'SELECT * FROM emp'. client close. rows. Installation To install this library you clone the repository and load BaselineOfPharoOracleCallInterface. This can be done using the Iceberg UI tools or with the following script: Metacello new baseline: 'PharoOracleCallInterface'; repository: 'github://Ironirc/Pharo-Oracle-Call-Interface:main/'; load. You have to make sure that the Pharo VM can access/load the necessary native library for your client side OS platform. The easiest way to get started is using Oracle Instant Client and an Oracle Cloud account. You also have to set up and configure access, contact your DBA for help. Status This project is new and currently under development. It should not be used for production applications. Basic queries are working on 32 and 64 bit Windows and 64 bit macOS. Talents - VM Crash on P9 after Fuel Materialization

After serializing and then materializing an object with a talent, the trait's instVar seems to have disappeared from the inspector, although the print string looks like that of a Talented object. If you send a getter for a talented ivar, Pharo crashes. Not sure if this is a Talents problem or a Fuel problem (or both). PTerm - Can't Find FFI Library on M1 Mac on P9

The really cool PTerm in-image terminal emulator works for me in P8 but not on P9. I recently upgraded to an M1 Mac, so Iâm trying to isolate whether ARM is the cause of the problem. Does anyone have any idea ? I seem to remember there were some issue with Metacello attributes, but maybe that is not related. Hi, We are seeing lots of issue that are still open, but already fixed or just not valid anymore. e.g. - the fix that was merged but the issue was not closed (sometimes GitHub has problems doing that) - Bug was fixed independent of the issue - The issue is just not relevant anymore It is often quite time consuming to even find out that an issue is already fixedâ¦ It would be nice if everyone could check the issues that - you submitted yourself - that are assigned to you - [Bonus] where you were part of some discussion https://github.com/pharo-project/pharo/issues Marcus
