[Pharo-project] Update #10050
by Adrian Lienhard July 16, 2008

July 16, 2008

Hi all, I published a new update. It contains the following fixes: http://code.google.com/p/pharo/issues/detail?id=27 http://code.google.com/p/pharo/issues/detail?id=31 (as discussed I used SLICE-squeak7080-NorbertHartl.2 not .3) http://code.google.com/p/pharo/issues/detail?id=32 (I used SLICE- squeak7081-NorbertHartl.2) http://code.google.com/p/pharo/issues/detail?id=30 I also changed #testUnwindDebuggerWithStep to be an expected failure. Furthermore, during initialization "String initialize" is run, which was forgotten during the last update. Concerning the situation of tests, there is MCPackageTest>>testUnload that fails when run with other tests but not when run in alone. We should fix this. Then there are no unexpected failures left. Cheers, Adrian ___________________ Adrian Lienhard http://www.adrian-lienhard.ch/

[Pharo-project] How to work on taskForce
by Stéphane Ducasse July 16, 2008

July 16, 2008

Hello guys I started (as an experiment to understand how to improve code understanding) to try to understand and write tests for dataStream and I would to share the results with you. The point is that we could harvest what I did but I feel that we need a way to share experimental code. I propose to create a project PharoTaskForces. What do you think? Stef

[Pharo-project] BrowseTest change in inbox
by Adrian Lienhard July 16, 2008

July 16, 2008

Hi Alex, The following package is in the inbox. It changes methods in the class BrowseTest, but this class does not exist in the image. I don't know whether BrowseTest was removed or it came into your image from another source. Can you please check? Cheers, Adrian Name: Tools-AlexandreBergel.83 Author: AlexandreBergel Time: 26 May 2008, 10:11:12 pm UUID: 49e5b0a5-ad37-41a1-9487-916b74ae07d9 Ancestors: Tools-stephane.ducasse.82 The class BrowseTest is not OB aware. Without this fix, BrowseTest raised an error when OB was the default browser.

As Pharo also uses OB-Enhancements for its class browser, I want to forward this email about recent additions to the OB-Enhancements package. by Alexandre Bergel July 14, 2008

July 14, 2008

Hi! Is there currently a strategy to turn _ into :=? Does it have to be done manually? I am working on a part of the system that contains _.
