by Esteban Lorenzano Dec. 11, 2009

Dec. 11, 2009

Hi, For all the Algernon lovers (right now, Mariano and my self), I want to announce a configuration available to Algernon on MetacelloRepository. This version uses just monticello packages and metacello configuration (I mean: no universes needed). As always, you can install it by executing: ConfigurationOfAlgernon project latestVersion load. Enjoy! Esteban

[Pharo-project] [update 1.1] 11089 to 11092: TO BE TESTED
by Marcus Denker Dec. 11, 2009

Dec. 11, 2009

Issue 1565: [FIX] Improve performance of weak key dictionaries When Martin von Loewis visited SCG in 2007, he did some nice enhancements to weakkeydictionaries... The problem is that they are re-hashed far to often (when a nil key is found, which happens frequently if the keys are garbagecollected often...) For me, this change translates to a ca. 20% improvement in Monticello performance. [Pharo-project] Strange behaviour of Class Browser in 1.0/1.1
by Guido Stepken Dec. 11, 2009

Dec. 11, 2009

Hi folks! When i open Classbrowser (Windows XP 1.0+1.1 recent Pharo, all updates installed), <crtl>-rightclick into the categories field, a "OBPluggable List" pops up. When i select "duplicate", i can move the text window out of the browsers context ... difficult to delete that stuff :) Wrong behaviour in class definitions ... what about design patterns? tnx, keep up the good work, regards, Guido Stepken -- View this message in context: http://n2.nabble.com/Strange-behaviour-of-Class-Browser-in-1-0-1-1-tp414981… Sent from the Pharo Smalltalk mailing list archive at Nabble.com.

[Pharo-project] Problems with updates 1.0 & 1.1 on XP ...
by Guido Stepken Dec. 10, 2009

Dec. 10, 2009

Hi folks! I installed recent Pharo 1.0 and downloaded also the 1.1 alpha Image. Updating both fails finally. 1.1 stops updating at a certain point, 1.0 updates, but classbrowser finally doesn't work. Any ideas? tnx, Guido
