[Pharo-project] Changes not logged
by Lukas Renggli July 6, 2010

July 6, 2010

I noticed that "World > Tools > Recover lost changes ..." does not log any longer method removals. Also class definitions, class removals, and do-its are missing in the .changes file. I think this is since Pharo1.1rc3, but maybe earlier. Did anybody else notice that too? Lukas -- Lukas Renggli www.lukas-renggli.ch

[Pharo-project] System vs System-support package
by Michael Roberts July 6, 2010

July 6, 2010

I am about to post a deprecation of SystemVersion>>version: to 1.2 but once i have made my changes i see something odd in MC browser: dirty packages * System (System-StephaneDucasse.6) * System-Support (System-Support-StephaneDucasse.317) Stef, have you started to publish System as a whole? did you mean to? My changes therefore hit two packages. System is still packaged in 1.2 at its sub-level of ~20 packages. thanks, Mike

by Germán Arduino July 5, 2010

July 5, 2010

Hi Folks, I'm very happy of announce that ESUG will be sponsoring my work to develop a XMLRPC client interface, as I comment on my blog: http://germanarduino.blogspot.com/2010/06/esug-will-sponsor-xmlrpc-project.…. I want to thank publicly to Stéphane Ducasse, Alain Plantec, Nuory Bouraqadi and ESUG, as they are sponsoring this initiative under the "support your project" program, described in http://www.esug.org/Promotion/Project . Thanks you very much ESUG. Any comment or suggestion to this project is more than welcomed. Cheers. -- ================================================= Germán S. [Pharo-project] Browsers and #fadeBackgroundWindows
by Schwab,Wilhelm K July 5, 2010

July 5, 2010

A little while ago, I mentioned that background windows do not show their selections. This was in the win2k theme and with #fadeBackgroundWindows active. Turning off the latter "fixes" it. It would be better to fade the selections than to suppress them entirely.
