Updates: Status: Fixed Comment #2 on issue 3087 by marianopeck: optimize hasBindingThatBeginsWith: http://code.google.com/p/pharo/issues/detail?id=3087 Ok, together with Nicolas Passerini we analyzed the code. Seems to be ok for our point of view. Comment #1 on issue 3187 by guillermopolito: Undeclared in SmartRefStream>>#nextPut: http://code.google.com/p/pharo/issues/detail?id=3187 There's a line that's using that instance variable, but it was removed. Does it have something to do with the Uniclasses removal? There are no tests for SmartRefStream... :(

Updates: Cc: alexandre.bergel Comment #2 on issue 3185 by guillermopolito: BitmapStreamTests have errors http://code.google.com/p/pharo/issues/detail?id=3185 As we noticed, here are two problems: 1) SmartStreamRef>>nextPut: has already an instance variable that (as we supose) was removed while removing UniClasses) 2) After removing the line using that variable, we had another issue: The test is Saving an ImageSegment in a file, and then it is loading it using (FileDirectory default readOnlyFileNamed: externalSegmentFilename) fileInObjectAndCode which throws an Invalid UTF8 input detected (because it is assuming the file as a text file).

[Pharo-project] Issue 3256 in pharo: matchesRegex on colon
by pharo＠googlecode.com Nov. 13, 2010

Nov. 13, 2010

Status: New Owner: ---- New issue 3256 by davide.v...@gmail.com: matchesRegex on colon http://code.google.com/p/pharo/issues/detail?id=3256 Pharo image: Pharo-core Pharo core version: 1.2-12146 Virtual machine used: Squeak 4.2.5beta1U for mac If you evaluate: 'whatever' matchesRegex: ':' it rises an error. if I escape the colon the error disappears, but is it right? I think it's a sort of coupling with method parsing. Tx Davide

When you want to break out, just do a normal return! This often even makes the code more readable. But speaking of tricks... testValueWithExitBreak | val | [ :break | 1 to: 10 do: [ :i | val := i. i = 4 ifTrue: [break value]. ] ] valueWithExit. self assert: val = 4. testValueWithExitContinue | val last | val := 0. 1 to: 10 do: [ :i | [ :continue | i = 4 ifTrue: [continue value]. val := val + 1. last := i ] valueWithExit. ]. self assert: val = 9. self assert: last = 10. with BlockClosure>>valueWithExit self value: [ ^nil ] -- Marcus Denker -- http://www.marcusdenker.de INRIA Lille -- Nord Europe.
