Hi, I was impressed by DrGeo at PharoConf. It's used by several schools. Is it OK to add it to the success stories page on pharo-project.org ? Laurent Laffont - @lolgzs <http://twitter.com/#!/lolgzs> Pharo Smalltalk Screencasts: http://www.pharocasts.com/ Blog: http://magaloma.blogspot.com/

Hi, I've posted a small digest of past week activity in the Pharo-Project ML. I find it difficult to follow the pace of this list so I hope it will be useful to some of you. I will try to post an update every week. Feedback/critics are more than welcome :) Francois [ http://articles.tulipemoutarde.be/this-week-in-the-pharo-project-mailing-li… ]

Comment #3 on issue 2004 by stephane...@gmail.com: Object>>windowActiveOnFirstClick looks strange http://code.google.com/p/pharo/issues/detail?id=2004 I would really like to have a distinction between an object and a model. I think that having everything in Object is not good.

[Pharo-project] Issue 3546 in pharo: Have a look at SystemReporter
by pharo＠googlecode.com Feb. 12, 2011

Feb. 12, 2011

Status: Accepted Owner: stephane...@gmail.com Labels: Milestone-1.3 New issue 3546 by stephane...@gmail.com: Have a look at SystemReporter http://code.google.com/p/pharo/issues/detail?id=3546 In the SystemReporter you can chose what system information should be gathered. So you could have a compact overview of the image and the VM or a full length/all details report. Add the repository SystemReporter to Monitcello. MCHttpRepository location: 'http://www.squeaksource.com/SystemReporter' user: '' password: '' Load the package SystemReporter and do SystemReporter open in a workspace. This very simple and needs to be polished further. License is MIT and everybody is invited to add code. It's easy to extend the reporter and it is explained in the class comment. This works with Squeak Trunk and Pharo 1.1.1 (needs to get rid of the deprecation warning) Alex

[Pharo-project] Issue 3689 in pharo: Transcript preference for #characterLimit
by pharo＠googlecode.com Feb. 12, 2011

Feb. 12, 2011

Status: New Owner: ---- New issue 3689 by bstj...@yahoo.com: Transcript preference for #characterLimit http://code.google.com/p/pharo/issues/detail?id=3689 It would be useful for some of us to be able to specify a different #characterLimit for the Transcript display in a Preferences setting. 20000 characters is sometimes not enough for some tasks/logging.
