>About barcodes generation, why don't use Artefact directly ? If you look at the implementation you will see that barcode generation is mostly about implementing the correct encoding (to get a string with 0s and 1s) With this one can easily draw the lines on a form, a morph/canvas or directly in PDF. An easy way now is by using a form, see "BarcodeEAN13 example asForm" and then display this form in PDF via Artefact or use "asMorph openInWorld" Bye T.

Also "create method" in traits

Hi I informally reported this "feature requirement" today to Sebastian, but I wanted to post it to all. When the debugger is shown after a MNU, the developer can press the button "Create method". A list of the superclasses is shown to the developer, so he/she can choose in which class crate the method. In addition to superclasses, it would be nice to show the traits that the classes use, since developer might want to create the method there. Cheers, MartÃn

Barcode readers need clean black-white transitions and that is something JPEG compression cannot provide (unless printing large enough at high enough resolution, and low enough compression). Hi, It seems that https://pharo.fogbugz.com/f/cases/10760/Lots-and-Lots-of-Delay-wait-process… is closed, but the problem remains. Yesterday I test deployed a brand new 3.0 image. It has more than 800 bogus delay related processes. â¦ This is not good ;-) The least we should do is add some script in the release/build process to kill them. Changing ConfigurationOfCog

Hi guys! I worked yesterday on making VMMaker load and work in Pharo2.0 with filesystem. Now, I want to push my changes in a new development version of ConfigurationOfCog. But I have some questions: Is ConfigurationOfCog used by other people besides Pharo? Because so far I see: - there are two different groups in the conf: #common and #pharo. - In #common, there is CMakeVMMaker (which in turn loads cairo from files.pharo.org :)) and the oscog branch of VMMaker. Both have only as latest committers Igor and Esteban :P. And I - in #pharo there are nativeboost and some compatibility packages. So there are pharo specific stuff in both groups, or am I mistaken? Should we keep both groups, or make them one and simplify? And how should I push my changes related with filesystem (pharo-specific) then? Guille

Hi I read the chapter on validation of the mentoring course book of andres valloud. http://www.lulu.com/fr/fr/shop/andres-valloud/a-mentoring-course-on-smallta… And I love this extension of SUnit. I loved the idea when I saw it for the first time at Lugano (presentation of Leandro Caniglia). I encourage everybody to read it. Now does anybody implemented in Pharo the SUnit extension? I would like to play with it and eventually write a chapter on it for the next book. The idea is so good. Stef
