I understand your point, it is possible to have interesting theoretical discussions about unit tests, but a test that exercises the code is much better than none at all. If you don't like the setup of SocketTest, write your own test class, like DomainSocketTest. Tests are really important: they are live, validated documentation. Hi, Status of the issue tracker: - Overall open issues: 486 out of those, some are tagged for a Milestone. (this means "has to be fixed before a release is possible"): - Pharo2: 2 - Pharo3: 87 The issues tagged Pharo3 are not all real showstoppers, we should check each and remove the release tag from the ones that are not important. Hi I'm happy because I finished my final pass on the block chapter and it is much cleaner. I was fuzzy when I started to write this chapter and I'm happy because now I know :) Soon Deep into Pharo will get out. Thanks all for the discussions and feedback. Stef
