New Pharo-Launcher package for Mac and Windows
by Damien Cassou April 8, 2015

April 8, 2015

Hi, I've just updated the 2 installers for mac and windows. http://files.pharo.org/platform/launcher/Pharo_0.2.4.dmg http://files.pharo.org/platform/launcher/pharo_installer-0.2.4.exe - the windows installer should have the PharoV30.sources file that was missing - both installers now install the most recent Pharo launcher -- Damien Cassou http://damiencassou.seasidehosting.st "Success is the ability to go from one failure to another without losing enthusiasm." --Winston Churchill

modifying ASTs
by Yuriy Tymchuk April 7, 2015

April 7, 2015

Hi, I need to change source code of a method by for example adding a pragma. Can I just manipulate itâs AST without carrying about source code anchors? Because it seems that I have to set from/to values and it looks painful. Uko

gitfiletree doesn't throw error when repository doesn't exist
by Peter Uhnák April 7, 2015

April 7, 2015

When I load non-existing repository, e.g. Metacello new baseline: 'WhatEver'; repository: 'gitfiletree:///hoewrtory'; load then Metacello just silently executes it and doesn't do anything. I would expect some error to pop-up that it doesn't exist. Thanks, Peter

thats understanable and reasonable. I am impressed with how well it emulates Morphic so far. No problem waiting for an answer. Ok then I will keep using it and reporting problems I find. Documenting is something I can do too, I am familiar with pillar , so I will send some pull requests when I get a good understanding of Bloc. Contributing examples is something I can do too, will wait for the move of bloc to a public repo I can contribute too including comments. For now I will stress tests and report and then when I am familiar enough move to other tasks.
