Help required for understanding a project on smalltalk hub
by Jigyasa Grover May 5, 2015

May 5, 2015

Hello All ! I have just started with Pharo and still grasping it features. I have come across a project on Smalltalk Hub http://smalltalkhub.com/#!/~BenjA/FullTextSearch ; a search application for Pharo. I wish to explore this project and enhance/improvise it further. It would be great if the author of this project, any of its contributors or simply a Pharo enthusiast would guide me on how to go about understanding the project. I am keen on broadening it further. Thanks Jigyasa

Improving the About Text of Versionner
by Sergio Fedi May 5, 2015

May 5, 2015

This seemed a fairly easy change so I can keep honing my contributing skills. I came up with this About text for the tool. Below is a screenshot on how it looks: â Here's the text: *Versionner is a GUI for Metacello that allows you to use a nice (but limited, as are most GUI tools) tool instead of writing configs by hand.* *Metacello is a package management system that declares dependencies between* *those packages in configuration classes.* *Monticello is our SCM system that groups code into packages.* *For a tutorial video on how to use Versionner:* * https://youtu.be/cFRJDuWL-Q0 <https://youtu.be/cFRJDuWL-Q0>*

Roassal3D and Woden process handling
by Yuriy Tymchuk May 5, 2015

May 5, 2015

Hi guys, Iâm not experienced in OpenGL, but Iâve noticed that both Roassal3D and Woden occupy a high level process and are not yielding Processor to anyone else. For example code highlight, spotter, and other lower priority processes are not working as soon as you open a 3D visualization. On the other hand this doesnât happen while using CodeCity (and it also uses OpenGL). Is it very complicated to make Roassal3D and Woden to respect other processes? Uko

Case 15309 - Adding message for test result
by Sergio Fedi May 5, 2015

May 5, 2015

Hi, I'm planning to solve Case 15309: https://pharo.fogbugz.com/f/cases/15309/adding-message-for-test-result Personally, I'm not sure what is needed, and I would prefer to do this change at the request of an actual color blind person who needs it and can provide real feedback on the issue. But that's why I'm tackling this case: To determine *whether we should do something about it, and what* *or **to close it*
