#ifCurtailed: multi-thread semantics

Just a curiousity. I learnt something new today... #ifCurtailed blocks are processed in the outer most thread. Transcript clear; crShow: Processor activeProcess; show:' - outside'. p1 := [ [ Transcript crShow: Processor activeProcess; show: ' - inside'. 1 second wait. ] ifCurtailed: [ Transcript crShow: Processor activeProcess; show: ' - curtailed' . ] ] newProcess priority: 41. p1 resume. p1 terminate. ==> a Process(304957184) in nil - outside a Process(680396800) in nil - inside a Process(304957184) in nil - curtailed This makes some sense since (I guess) the inside thread is terminated before the curtailed block executes. However another curiousity... Also interesting is that if the curtailed code contains a wait, it blocks the whole UI. cheers -ben btw, I added... Yet again, wrong tempvars in debuggers context variables list

This is not an issue with GTDebugger, but the way opal generates the tempvar index or the way, debuggerMap tries to access the context vars 17660 <https://pharo.fogbugz.com/f/cases/17660/wrong-tempvar-values-in-debugger> wrong tempvar values in debugger This is a really special case, I wasn't able yet to create an easier example for reproducing this bug: - put a self haltOnce in RAbstractClass>>#directlyDefinesLocalMethod: - enable halt once - select any other method in Nautilus and choose "Rename method (all)" from method panes context menu - enter a new name and push "OK" -> the debugger pops up in method directlyDefinesLocalMethod: - select the first "allClassesDo:" context from top of the stack -> the debugger shows that we are in the evalBlock context The "seen" variable is a Set, but if you look at the "Variables"-pane, it is shown as a block (this is actually the parameter aBlock)

Fuel bug. Array class substitution is not working

Hi. I detect strange bug. Substitution Array class is not working. Try this: s := ByteArray new writeStream. serializer := FLSerializer newDefault. serializer analyzer when: [ :o | o==Array ] substituteBy: [ :o | #instead ]. serializer serialize: {Array} on: s . s2 := s contents readStream. object := (FLMaterializer newDefault materializeFrom: s2) root.
