Hi, I was at ESUG last week and I discussed about this issue with some people, and in the end Stef told me "drop a mail in the mailing list, I am interested to understand what all the other people think about it". So, here I am. I have my project in which I am modeling development sessions. Each session object has a number of meta-data (e.g., start, end time, etc.) and a collection of events. Each event object owns some meta-data and some references to classes that were "touched" by a given event (i.e., now I am using the Ring definition of the classes, since I plan to serialize and deserialize them and I cannot serialize the real class object, it would be too heavy, isn't it?). Now the question: I would like to create a Moose model of a development session to be able to import the sessions in the Moose panel and play around with the excellent Moose tool-suite. How should I proceed? Do you think it's better to annotate and add pragmas to the existing classes or to create a minimal parallel hierarchy of my model (i.e., MooseSession for MySession) and have something like MySession>>#asMooseDef which returns an object of kind MooseSession? [NativeBoost] Can't load function on OS X 10.8.5

I am trying to change JNIPort such that it uses NativeBoost instead of Alien. The first problem I ran into is that I can't load a function from the Java VM library libclient.dylib on OS X 10.8.5 in Pharo 2.0. I am using the 1.6.0 JDK from Apple, and libclient.dylib is an i386 (i.e. 32 bit) library. The following expression answers nil: NativeBoost loadFunction: 'JNI_CreateJavaVM_Impl' from: '/System/Library/Java/JavaVirtualMachines/1.6.0.jdk/Contents/Libraries/libclient.dylib' The same happens when I copy libclient.dylib to the working directory and do not specify a path. The only way to produce a different behavior is copying the library into the Pharo2.0.app bundle and put it in the directory Pharo2.0.app/Contents/MacOS/Plugins. Hi Seasiders, The Seaside repository moved to Smalltalkhub, a new ConfigurationOfSeaside3 was created and Seaside 3.1 is in release candidate mode. Current stable release for all platforms is 3.0.8 (with a final bugfix release 3.0.9 coming up). Seaside 3.1 has all tests green on Pharo 1.4 and 2.0.
