Hi guys While I prefer sharedPool over pool dictionary and I like what andreas did back then. there are still places for improvements. If you file out a category with a pool and a class using it. If the pool is not created first, then the system automatically add a 'private' (pool named 'private') to the class the problem is that such pool is an empty dictionary and not a shared pool Gorgeous :) We will get there when we will start to surround the classBuilder and rewrite it from scratch. I'm starting to put together some helpers for UI testing. What's out there already? I started simulating keyboard events. It seems like the place to hook is ActiveHand>>handleEvent:. This way, it will take into account the keyboard focus and route the event the way it would for a real event. Does that sound right? So far the API adds TestCase>>simulateKeyStrokes: which forwards to ActiveHand>>handleEvent:, so you can put in a test: testMyMorph MyMorph new openInWorld. "MyMorph takes the keyboard focus in #initialize" self simulateKeyStrokes: 'abcd'. "keystrokes go to MyMorph instance" Obviously, there are things missing (like modifier keys), but what are your thoughts on the general approach? But I'd like to do that with a MetacelloConfiguration. May I add a version 14 in the ConfigurationOfZincHTTPComponents? Can I use the latest versions of each package ? Or are there some 'stable' versions I should use ? There are two ConfigurationOfZincHTTPComponents: one in the Zn repository and one in the MetacelloRepository. Which one should I update? I came across this: https://github.com/gruns/furl a small Python library that makes parsing and manipulating URLs simple. And this would be some equivalent manipulations using ZnUrl: | url | url := 'http://www.google.com/?one=1&two=2' asZnUrl. url queryAt: 'three' put: '3'. url queryRemoveKey: 'one'. url => http://www.google.com/?two=2&three=3 | url | url := 'http://www.google.com' asZnUrl. url addPathSegment: 'some encoding here'. url queryAt: 'and some encoding' put: 'here, too'. url => http://www.google.com/some%20encoding%20here?and%20some%20encoding=here%2C%… So I guess our base Url object does not need an extra library to make manipulations easier.
