Since XML-Parser-JAAyer.50 the SAXDriver doesn't check anymore for #checkEOD in the #handle methods, have you removed eod iVar for performance reasons? I need it because I have a very large XML and I want to be able to parse some "header" nodes without parsing the entire XML. Otherwise, what would be the way of doing this with the newer versions? Hi guys. I was trying to use TWM in Pharo 1.3 release. TWM brings with keymappings, which breaks the shortcuts of my image. For example, after installing keymappings I cannot close windows anymore with cmd + w or I cannot run tests from the browser using cmd + t. So i installed TWM without keybinding but now I cannot open the settings window because keymappings is not load. Any solution? I'm starting to put together some helpers for UI testing. What's out there already? I started simulating keyboard events. It seems like the place to hook is ActiveHand>>handleEvent:. This way, it will take into account the keyboard focus and route the event the way it would for a real event. Does that sound right? So far the API adds TestCase>>simulateKeyStrokes: which forwards to ActiveHand>>handleEvent:, so you can put in a test: testMyMorph MyMorph new openInWorld. "MyMorph takes the keyboard focus in #initialize" self simulateKeyStrokes: 'abcd'. "keystrokes go to MyMorph instance" Obviously, there are things missing (like modifier keys), but what are your thoughts on the general approach? Hi Sean, i got overwhelmed last year with the task of porting CUIS Morphic, to Pharo. There's just to much differences on several common classes, it's hard to fully understand how to merge both ui frameworks. Even though i believe Juan has a did an excellent work in simplifying Morphic, and adding simpler code, like for example his new layouts (download CUIS and try them out). But my overall impression , was that we need to stop being backward compatible in order to create a simple Morphic-like framework for Pharo, and start from scratch. Fixing current Morphic is also a humongous task, for example see Stef's nice work on cleaning the event handling mechanism. I have a Microsoft Access database on Microsoft Windows that I want to process using Pharo.
