Bonjour Ã tous, Deux petites questions pour Ã©clairer ma lanterne. 1) Est-ce que la VM de Pharo a Ã©tÃ© modifiÃ©e par rapport Ã la VM de Squeak? En fait, ce que je dÃ©sire savoir c'est si Pharo supporte le FFI dans l'Ã©ventualitÃ© oÃ¹ je voudrais porter les "packages" ODBC sur Pharo. 2) Est-ce que Pharo projette d'intÃ©grer l'interface Aliens de Eliot Miranda ou bien vous planifiez de rester avec l'implÃ©mentation actuelle et FFI ? 3) Est-ce qu'il y a quelqu'un qui travaille actuellement sur un "port" de ODBC sur Pharo ? merci. ----------------- Benoit St-Jean Yahoo! Hi david the navigation with the icons is really cool. The new icons too :) I could spot super with different selectors in no time. Lukas you should have a look no super read different super black simple super green on associationsDo: for example we should keep that for a use study. now I was thinking that it would be great to have an icon for a class using traits and a traits used so that we could navigate the same as for the methods because clicking on the icon is cool Stef

[Pharo-project] Stange issue when updating image

When I try to update my image, my image is blocked in by a semaphore waiting for the connection. After some investigation in the #httpGetDocument... method it looks like the header sent by the Apache server of Inria is like that: HTTP/1.1 302 Found Date: Tue, 09 Dec 2008 09:58:31 GMT Server: Apache/2.2.3 (Debian) mod_auth_pgsql/2.0.3 DAV/2 SVN/1.4.2 PHP/5.2.0-8+etch13 mod_ssl/2.2.3 OpenSSL/0.9.8c X-Powered-By: PHP/5.2.0-8+etch13 Location: http://gforge.inria.fr/updates/updates.list Content-Length: 0 Connection: close Content-Type: text/html; charset=UTF-8 Of course the field Location is wrong as the pharo part of the name is gone,so the loop. Ok, I've spent a number of hours(days?) to build some more SUnits and create a working Alien plugin for PowerPC that at least lets you get/put byte, short, long, and long long data (32 bit based), plus call APIs that use that type of data. At the moment Float/Double does not work because of some decisions about how to handle Float versus Long have not been made yet. Therefore you cannot work with Float or Double objects. Please find a 32bit universal plugin on the ftp site in the experimental folder. http://www.smalltalkconsulting.com/squeak.html look for the IA32ABI.1.0.1.bundle.zip It would be helpful if some folks could poke at things a bit to understand how workable things are at the moment. Tomorrow if time permits I'll look at structures, and I need some more Sunits to handle Alien objects that embed the data in the smalltalk object, versus Alien objects that use malloc and then point to the malloced storage area. Astute readers will know that Alien uses negative/positive size to mediate the type, and the Sunits don't attempt usage of both types yet to ensure there is proper coverage of the plugin support code. -- = = = ======================================================================== John M. Hello, I am using a modified version of the EventRecorderMoprh to record learners activities. With latest Pharo (#183) I am facing several problems (compatibilty ones as I expected it). The most serious one is about primitive error with something related to hardware cursor throught the VM. The enclosed debug log may be more meaning full.
