Polymorph help text

I am building a UI with polymorph. It's all working well. One curious thing is that the hover help over my controls displays with a carriage return just before the last character. I'm using 1.4 on linux 64bit. how to test forked morph rendering

Hi, I have a piece of code that builds a morph in a parallel process, and I would like to test that it builds the right thing. The building of the morph can take long. My current solution is to add a delay, but this is ugly and unreliable: "setup and trigger the morph building" (Delay forMilliseconds: 1000) wait. ZnClient>>#close & socket semaphores

I ran into an out-of-external semaphores error when testing the Tropo API. It uses ZnEasy to post data to their api servers. I know I can raise the semaphore limit by running: Smalltalk vm maxExternalSemaphoresSilently: 3000. then saving. But I wondered if changing ZnClient>>#close to this: close "Close any HTTP network connection that I might have kept open." connection ifNotNil: [ connection close: self isOneShot. connection := nil. state := #closed ]. lastUsed := nil And then adding these two methods: ZdcAbstractSocketStream>>#close: close: andDestroy "Close the stream, flush if necessary" self flush. socket isNil ifTrue: [ ^ self ]. self socketClose: andDestroy. socket := nil ZdcAbstractSocketStream>>#socketClose: andDestroy andDestroy ifTrue: [ socket closeAndDestroy ] ifFalse: [ socket close ] might enable ZnClient to clean up after it issues 'one shot' requests in a safe manner. Hello In case, it is useful to someone. It is how I clean up the known fonts in the image and load an external one located along the image. FreeTypeFontProvider unload. FreeTypeFontProvider current updateFromFileEntry: (FileDirectory default entryAt: 'UnDotum.ttf') directory: FileDirectory default locationType: #imageRelative. I've been using it as my Display canvas for a couple of days, and I like the idea of allowing Morphs to use OpenGL in their drawOn: methods (makes for much faster transform morphs ;) There's plenty of problems, and performance isn't great, but do people think better OpenGL integration is something that's still worth pursuing? (not necessarily based on GLMorphic) If you want to give it a try, I've updated the ConfigurationOfGLMorphic in the squeaksource.com/GLMorphic repository. Load the #lastVersion (development) and try and enable the GLCanvas with GLDisplayScreen new Works okay here on my i5 with Mesa (software) rendering, and pretty well when run on an nVidia card. I've only tried it on Linux, but it should work wherever CroquetGL works.
