CSV (Comma Separated Values) and more generally other delimiter-separated-value formats like TSV are probably the most common data exchange format. A number of implementations of this simple format already exist. NeoCSV is a more flexible and more efficient reader and writer for this format. How to file out all code in a MC package?

I am currently trying to port some code from Pharo to Visual Smalltalk Enterprise (yes, I know VSE is very old, but nevertheless still used by some people). Since VSE don't support Metacello, I am trying to load the code in Pharo, and use Fileout. The SystemBrowser support Fileout on package, class and method, but how can I find (and fileout) all loose/extension methods in an MC package? "Objects pointing to this value" and "Explore pointers"

Hello there, I'm puzzled about those 2 items in inspector's menu and I've a couple of questions: 1) What's the difference between them? It seems to me the meaning is quite similar. 2) Every time I click on "Objects pointing to this value" nothing happens, is it right? I'm on Pharo 1.4 3) Is there any documentation or example that explains how to use them? If not can it be added on Pharo book? Evaluating Nautilus

First let me apologize for asking without properly evaluating first. I took some time and read about Nautilus which it seems a very nice work. I've developed a phylogenetics classifier using OmniBrowser, but I wondered if Nautilus could save me some effort, and I'm planning to test Pharo 1.4 or 2.0 in some future in which AFAIK OmniBrowser will not be supported anymore. - Some time ago I've modified the OmniBrowser framework to browse anything I wanted in the "code pane" (the lower pane typically used for displaying/editing code), as we had a complex OODB it was very useful, see http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VxUaOFRHFPk for a demo. However it was not easy to understand the OB internals and make the modifications. Have you tried to implement such feature in Nautilus? - There is documentation for developing browsers with Nautilus? Something which explains the basic architecture, how it differs from OB? for example: --Do you have to define a metagraph? --May I have multiple definition panels? -Do you have a mapping for each node type (class?) with each column? -OB is not cross-UI (it depends on Morphic). Can I use a Nautilus browser within a web browser? - Another thing which is really easy is to define Commands in OB, (although the #isActive logic could become a mess without some care). How it is different in Nautilus? I'm sure I would rewrite my browsers with Nautilus, my key question is how much of the OB knowledge I can re-use? We have DateAndTime and TimeStamp, which are generally useful objects with lots of features. But for a lot of applications, they are too heavy. In server side code, timestamps are almost always in UTC (timezone zero). In most cases, nanosecond or millisecond precision are not (really) needed. Unix/Posix time has only second precision. I wrote ZTimestamp as an alternative for DateAndTime and TimeStamp. It has second precision and lives in the UTC/GMT/Zulu timezone. It uses ISO/International conventions and protocols only. ZTimestamp is more efficient: it uses half the memory of DateAndTime and is faster. Versionner a GUI for metacello

Hi all, I would like present you ``Versionner''. Versionner is a GUI for metacello. It supports a simple working style, providing a basic UI set to handle versions: (i)create a configuration (ii) update an application (iii) commit and save all the packages of an application (iv) load an application from a repository. The goal of Versionner, is to not write a metacello version by hand again. Saving and committing all your monticello package, and creating a new metacello version is a one click operation.
