Hi, I'm working on the first version of my draft article about Pharo, wrote inside Pharo itself. I would like to illustrate the process of learning and building the software by making some graphs of the history of the Monticello repository and I'm wondering how difficult this could be. I'm thinking in something like: - A bar char with the amount of commits per day since the repo existed. - Number of methods in the package. - Total lines of code Any advice about how to use Moose/Roassal to create a "selfie" of the project's history is welcomed. FFI examples on Linux don't work

Hi, I have posted a bug about this in fogbugz. FFI example on Linux donât work X11Display coloredRectangles raises an error Â« coud not coerce arguments Â». In fogbugz, I was asked to raise this question in the mailing list, to know if it comes from the VM or from FFI. Annick

Forcing a library to load

Hi, How is it possible to force a library to load ? Namely I have large libraries on linux which depend on each other. I discovered that the equivalent code in C runs, but not in pharo using FFI, and one problem was that a dependent library was not loaded. Annick

LF instead of CR for new lines or writing about Pharo inside Pharo

Hi all! :-) Today is a good day because Pharo is helping me a lot in getting things done (like in the Black Eyed Peas song, but nerdy style). Here you can see a screenshot of the exportation of the outliner project I have been working on (still in alpha): http://www.enlightenment.org/ss/e-54206a705cafd9.68856727.jpg Down is the Pharo outliner, upper left the markdown exportation and upper right the pdf exportation. As you can see, I have small glitches that need to be solved, mainly the fact that new lines are represented in Pharo by default with CR instead of LR, which doesn't like so much to the Pandoc[1][2] exporter. So, there is any way to change this behaviour to make LF the default character? This has some implications when you're writing code inside System Browsers or Playgrounds instead of my particular app? If yes, there is any way to replace each CR for LF in a text object, inside Pharo? Hi, if i want to have access to the variables in a workspace and know its window i simply do: window model instVarNamed: 'bindings' now i'd like to know how i do something like that with a GTPlayground that resides in a GLMSystemWindow werner

Ubuntu Font License : Compatibility with Pharo License?

Would the Ubuntu Font License at; http://font.ubuntu.com/licence/ be considered compatible with the Pharo license? If it is not _compatible_ would the usage of Ubuntu fonts still be acceptable/permissible within Pharo? Thanks, ~Mayuresh

Safari and weird rendering

Maybe someone has had this. I see that when IE or Safari get a response from Seaside, I do get an application/xhtml+xlml returned. But with Firefox and Chrome, this is text/html; charset=utf-8 The server is Zinc HTTP Components 1.0 Why is there such a difference? I've put the preference in the app to force it but Zinc still serves the way described above. Ideas? Phil

Multiline fields and NeoCSVReader

Hi, I am having a csv file looking like "COL1";"COL2";"COL3";"DESCRIPTION" 1;"A string";13;"This is a long description spanning multiple lines, which is a challenge for most csv readers!" 2;"Another string";42;"" (CRLF line endings) Is there a combination of settings to NeoCSVReader that will allow to read such a file?
