why do I not see the right text here (seaside)

Hello, I tryÂ to make my first seaside project. But I ran into a problem that I do not see how to solve, The image can be found here : *https://www.dropbox.com/s/8dt7xj1y6na5jog/Paintings.image?dl=0 *and the changes file here : *https://www.dropbox.com/s/dnsslrnpxgy0ha8/Paintings.changes?dl=0 *The problem is that I do not see the text "Blog post here" under my header. [ANN] Pharo-SQLite even more multilingual

Hi all, I've enhanced the Pharo SQLite library to be even more multilingual. It has always supported data elements that are Pharo WideString instances, these being converted to/from UTF8 transparently by the library. Now the library also handles multilingual table names, column names and default column values; in other words, multilingual SQL statements. To install in Pharo 7, load GlorpSQLite from the Catalog Browser. Example: | db | db := UDBCSQLite3Connection openOn: '/tmp/ml.db'. [ "Chinese table name, column names, and default column value." db basicExecute: 'create table è¡¨ä¸ (é®ä¸ integer primary key, åäº text default ''ä¸æ'');'. How to write out simple Json?

I am stumped about how to write out some simple json (for a config file). I didn't think I need Neo, and STONJSON would be fine but it seems like creating items like: { 'id'-> self id. 'name' -> self name } gives an error about the association. I think you have to do: { ('id'-> self id) asDictionary. ('name' -> self name) asDictionary } everywhereâ¦. But when I switch over to NeoJsonWriter it also complains about Assocations too. I just want a simple output like: { "id" : 12, "name" : "timâ } I thought it was simple to do this? Am I missing something obvious. Tim

Interval form: x to: y when x > y - or how to count down...

I've just been caught out with Intervals - why can't you do: 5 to: 1 do: [ :i | Transcript show: i printString] (eg a negative interval)? if you want to iterate down a series of numbers do you really have to do: 5 to: 1 by: -1 do: [â¦ I always assumed that if x > y the step was automatically -1 (but its not). I asked on Discord - and someone pointed out that if you use variables it could be ambiguous - but is it really? I donât know if other smalltalks do it this way (I vaguely recall Dolphin going down, but not sure). Either way the Interval comment should mention this - and Iâll correct it when I get the wisdom of the crowd here. Tim

Obviously its good to be circumspect at such an earlier stage, but I can imagine a few "good" editors who publishing a book would really lend some legitimacy and exposure to Pharo. That would be overall beneficial even if the book is not free. Symbol equality method #= - weird condition in the Pharo sourcecode

Hello, this is Symbol equality method in Pharo: 1: = aSymbol 2: "Compare the receiver and aSymbol." 3: self == aSymbol ifTrue: [^ true]. 4: self class == aSymbol class ifTrue: [^ false]. 5: "Use String comparison otherwise" 6: ^ super = aSymbol Look at line 4 - what does it mean? That's wrong, isn't it? Typically, every symbol comparisons end up in line 3, but if you do some work with forward proxies for example, condition on line 3 is "false" and then weird things on line 4 happens. If line 4 and further are correct, can someone explain a little? Thanks! pf
