ecompletion and new browser

Hello: I've downloaded the new Pharo image (Pharo-1.0-10515-rc3) from the site and just learned to use Metacello and Monticello (thanks to Stephane and Mariano btw). This image comes with a different browser that the one I was using before so after a little searching I found O2 and got it from Squeaksource but now the completion plugin it's missing from the browser. how can i fix this? thanks in advance.

installer bug?

hello: I'm trying to install SqueakDBX and evaluating 'Installer ss' fails cause squeaksource message is not understood. I got Installer-Core-nm.357 from squeaksource. Is it a bug or did I just installed the wrong package?. Can anyone please send me the code of squeaksource method so I can fix my working copy?

Hi - Is there a standard library access and make calculations from the distributions mentioned in the subject of this email? I'm interested in random draws from those distributions. I haven't found anything looking in the image or on squeaksource. Thanks Paul

[GSoC] Problems, Students bio and projects without mentor

Hi everybody. I hope everybody is fine. As you may have noticed, the ESUG GSoC has been quite busy the last weeks. Students started to register in the website, discuss with mentors, etc... A little problem that we saw few times: when you register (as a student or mentor) you should receive a confirmation email. I don't know why but some people reported this mail was filtered in the spam folder. So, if you are mentor or student and didn't receive a confirmation email, please check you spam folder. Students, when you edit your profile there is a tab called "Biography". Please, take the time to complete that. There are multiple students per project and that may help the mentor to choose the student. Another problem is that we have two projects without mentors. 1. Native windows for Squeak and Pharo http://gsoc2010.esug.org/projects/native-windows 2. OpenSSL Smalltalk wrapper http://gsoc2010.esug.org/projects/openssl Fortunately no student yet expressed interest on any of them.
