As I said, don't access url parameters by index, only by name. I am sure Teapot offers methods for that, in the most basic case it gives you a Dictionary or parameters, but most likely some wrapper that provides a Dictionary-esque access methods. Maybe this bit is a starting point (found here https://ci.inria.fr/pharo-contribution/job/EnterprisePharoBook/lastSuccessf…) 3.1. Parameters in URLs The URL pattern may contain named parameters (e.g., |<user>| above), whose values are accessible via the request object. The request is an extension of |ZnRequest| with some extra methods. Query parameters and Form parameters can be accessed the same way as path parameters |(req at: #paramName)|. Teapot can perform conversions of parameters to a number, for example as follows: |Teapot on GET: '/user/<id:IsInteger>' -> [ :req | users findById: (req at: #id)]; output: #ston; start.| But hey, now I see why you wanted to use Regex: Chapter 3.2 introduces them.... So what can you do if you want to use the reqex stuff? I'd start by adding a Breakpoint into the handler block and inspect the req object that gets passed in. Maybe somethins is wrong about your regex (I am far from being an expert on Regular Expressions) and Teapot is not doing any harm. Marcus, I have no answers to your questions, but it seems like you expect the URL parameters in a specified order. I am nat sure this is a good idea at all. So independent on why the order of the parameters is changed and by whom: you shouldn't rely on it. Sure, this doesn't really help to understand or fix the problem at hand. But there should be no problem if you handled parameters by name rather than their order. Are you sure the order of parameters is changed by Teapot? Teapot and Regex

Dear Smalltalkers (Pharonistas?), while trying out teapot in Pharo4, I encountered the following: I have made a plain HTML form which sends data to a teapot URL. Here is what the browser is sending: http://localhost:1701/bac/?a=88&r=0.7&kg=77 To answer this request via teapot, I wrote the following: ... GET:'\/bac\/\?a=(\d*)&r=(\d*.\d*)&kg=(\d*)' asRegex -> [:req | BloodAlcoholCalculator a:(req at:1) r:(req at:2) kg:(req at:3) ]; ... But the answer in the Browser looks like: Not Found /bac/?r=0.7&a=88&kg=77 I tested the regular expression via 'matchesRegex' and it returned 'true'. The funny thing is, that teapot changes the order of the values in the answer (r and a are switched). If I leave out the '\?' and use the resulting URL manually, teapot delivers the expected behaviour. What could be the reason for this issue and where should I search to understand it (System Browser)? Glamour Magritte Example Broken

Hi all I've just tried to use GLMAnnouncingCollection and found something odd. When you use it and its passed into a block (such as TableColumn computation:) it passes in the whole collection, not each item. Change the collection to OrderedCollection and it works as expected (except you lose the behaviour of GLMAnnouncingCollection). So, to find out how this is used I go to the examples provided, specifically "Magritte presentation". This has the following comment: "self new magritte openOn: GLMMagrittePersonExample sampleData" "GLMMagrittePersonExample sampleReset" "note, sampleData is *aGLMAnnouncingCollection*" This does not work as expected (or indeed how it used to). I've looked at this before and done work with Magritte using this example with Diego Lont and Stephan Eggermont. Its definitely become broken since the last time I looked at it. Can we confirm? Comparison for SequencableCollection

I was surprised when discovered that in Pharo comparison is not defined for lists, arrays and similar datastructures. Because in almost every programming language (F#, Python, Javascript just to name few) you can compare lists, arrays, etc. By convention, the ordering is lexicographical, just like in strings. protobufs for Pharo

Hey all, Has anyone implemented protobufs for Pharo yet? Iâve not managed to find any examples, so I assume the answer is ânoâ, but I thought Iâd check here before rolling up my sleeves and writing one myself. Pillar hyperref and refs numbering

Hi, I have two questions: 1. Would it be possible to add \usepackage{hyperref} to Pillar pdf output? Because currently all links are invisible (well, not invisible but they look like regular text so if the). So if you have sentence like "Then create a directory named "pharo-vm" and unzip the VM for windows that you can get on the pharo website (windows virtual machine) ." (Section "installing pillar on windows." nobody will notice that it's a link). Having hyperref for print doesn't make sense but if people are viewing it on their computer it's useful. 2. Why does HTML and PDF numbering differ? For example the first figure in HTML is "15.1", whilst in PDF its "1.1". This is further exemplified in the second sentence of the chapter "Pillar is currently used to write the Enterprise Pharo book and other projects (see Section 1.1)." or "Pillar is currently used to write the Enterprise Pharo book <https://github.com/SquareBracketAssociates/EnterprisePharo> and other projects (see Section 15.1.2 <https://ci.inria.fr/pharo-contribution/job/EnterprisePharoBook/lastSuccessf…> )." Where in PDF it's actually referring to the whole chapter instead of the proper part. But this may be result of the subsections not being numbered (unlike html, which numbered is). Thanks, Peter

Garage, Glorp, PostgreSQL and Cursors

Hello, I was trying the version of Glorp ported to Garage, and I must say it runs smoothly, nice job! I am reading large amount of data from a Postgres db, and I was curious about the use of cursors. I remember that the old version of Glorp for Pharo did not support cursors in Postgresql, has this changed in Garage? I tried to run some tests, using a query like: (Query readManyOf: MyClass) collectionType: GlorpCursoredStream; yourself. but with a large number of rows (~300k), the whole image crashes. Is this still not supported, or am I doing something wrong? Thanks, Tommaso

Pillar automatic anchors
