I've just been impressed by the new inspectors in Pharo 3 being able to display a Morph (I don't think that was possible before). For anyone interested in having a look here is a quick procedure... 1. Open Pharo 3 2. Shift-click on the background to get up a selection list "find window" from which select ImageMorph 3. From the spanner icon, select <explore morph> 4. Observe that it show this as a 'Tree Inspector'. Change this to 'Morph Viewer' Another thing to try, then change to TreeInspector and expand 'icons'.... Smalltalk ui icons inspect Thats it. Very nice work. cheers -ben

Gstreamer

Hi, I would like to know whether somebody knows about the gstreamer plugin. I would like to make it run on the Raspberry. I have already worked on a Java mapping here : http://code.google.com/p/gstreamer-java/ But it addresses only version 0.10 and not version 1.0. fileout or something similar from crashed image

Hello, I crashed my image and I had some unsaved code. Now, I know I can go to the changes file but I'm lazy. I am told there is a tool that allows "repairing/rejuvenating" a crashed image to recover .mcz files and I would like to give it a try. Tx Usman

Comanche on HTTPS

Hi list, Is there a way to serve HTTPS via Comanche? I can't use Zinc or Swazoo. Our app uses a version of Comanche that's pretty much hand-tailored for our needs, and switching would be quite a massive amount of work. Automatic Issue Checker

After a long debug session on monday I could finally overcome a tricky race condition for delays during image startup. This was the last obstacle to make the issue checker work under linux. The issue validator is now enabled again (the third time ;): https://ci.inria.fr/pharo/view/3.0-Analysis/job/Pharo-3.0-Issue-Validator/ The results are publish as HTMl on Jenkins and a link is put in the case description on fogbugz. See the following issue: https://pharo.fogbugz.com/f/cases/11907 1. Slice failed: https://ci.inria.fr/pharo/job/Pharo-3.0-Issue-Validator/334//artifact/valid… 2. Slice succeeded: https://ci.inria.fr/pharo/job/Pharo-3.0-Issue-Validator/336//artifact/valid… In the case you only provide a postscript the checker will fail with a warning that it didn't find a slice: https://pharo.fogbugz.com/f/cases/11895 Adding a "noMonkey" tag on fogbugz will solve that issue. camillo

JNIPort - How to load this in pharo?

Hi All, I was trying to load JNIPort in pharo , from MCHttpRepository location: 'http://www.squeaksource.com/JNIPort' user: '' password: '' Its raising some bugs regarding missing .mcz files in the repo. I wonder if sommone is useing it already, and are willing to share info about loading it to the image. My objective is feasibility study. Thanks in advance. Thushar
