segmentation fault on startup with no stack printed.... any way to recover the image?

My laptop battery ran down when I was not paying attention. I saved the image at about 6PM last night. The modification date on the image and changes file is 3:15AM. I'm guessing that is when the battery died. When I attempt to start the image (with cog or the interpreter vm) I get Segmentation fault (core dumped) It does not print anything to the PharoDebug.log. Is there a process to follow to attempt to recover the image? If I drag the changes file onto another clean Pharo 1.4 image, I'm not able to go back as far as I'd like. Ideally I would be able to get all the changes between the base Pharo 1.4 image and the image I lost. Thanks for any guidance you can provide

datepicker question

Hi, I use datepicker like this: html textInput value: Date today; callback: [ :value | self date: value ] ; script: (( html jQuery new datepicker) onSelect: html jQuery ajax serializeThis). In case of selecting the date within the datepicker popup (click at a date), it works fine ("self date:" is sent). But if I change the date within the textInput field, without using the datepicker popup, the callback is not fired. How can I set the date: also in case that the user types in the date in the text field? No "Community supported" sounds like you get something "supported" and working, but some of them are outdated and even do not contain a #stable definition. This "Untrusted" is just a convenience to easily load from the common http://squeaksource.com/MetacelloRepository/ and check if they are working. Esteban added it. A ConfigurationOfXXX (either in MetacelloRepository or in your own project repo): - if known to work in Pharo 2.0 it should be copied also to ss3.gemstone.com/ss/MetaRepoForPharo20 - if known to work in Pharo 1.4 it should be copied also to http://squeaksource.com/MetaRepoForPharo14 So the first tab in configuration browser contains the ones that have been (currently manually) verified to work in the Pharo version you have in front of you and the ones on the second "untrusted" tab may or may not work in Pharo 2.0. Maybe we should remove the second tab before release. Bye T.

Is this possible with XMLWriter?

Using XMLWriter writer directly is stream based and will not help you here. In Pharo 2.0 load "Pastell" (ConfigurationOfPastell) from the config browser. It also loads ConfigurationOfXMLSupport as a single dependency. This "XMLSupport" package is usually used for parsing XML and with "Pastell" you can easily access nodes like in XPath see http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6fUtdQ0-5yA for a pastell video Havent tried but with "XMLSupport" I'm sure you can also manually instantiate/connect/build the nodes and document, manipulate the object tree and write out the contents as XML file later. At least there are methods like #writeXMLOn: aWriter in classes like XMLDocument XMLNodeWithChildren, ... Bye T.
