FFI on Linux again

Hi, I Have tried the following code on Linux , but the call breaks. Is it because of the X11Window structure missing or else ? Spur images

My apologies if this is already spelled out somewhere and I simply can't find it, but are there any Spur images for Pharo yet?Â I can only find Squeak ones. It's not a big deal either way; I was just playing with an algorithm that, after very heavy optimization, I was able to get down to about 278ms per pass (from ~700ms initially from a naive implementation). For contrast, the equivalent Python runs in ~80ms. Looking at MessageTally, it seems at least half of that 278ms is spent noodling around in WideStrings and other small things that the Spur object format ought to help with, so it'd be interesting to see how much of a speed boost that gives without any further work.

Yes, I tried in VirtualBox. Same issues here: used OSProcess to query for the DHCP given IP address and noticed that AioPlugin is not available. I like that it is a naked Pharo 3.0 image. So I would not preload the command shell - one can easily provide a config in the config browser for additional things or load an own config via script/network. So one could adopt to its own needs with a simple additional loading (like switching to themes, logo, ...). And yes: keyboard layout switching is required. Really nice! Can the ISO image building get automated so we can have a CI script that builds an ISO for Pharo 3.0, current 4.0 and others ... Â Thx T.Â Gesendet:Â Donnerstag, 16. Hello pharo-users community, my name is Nicolas and I am a student of Informatics at USI in Lugano. I am currently working on my master thesis and I am getting into pharo, playing around a little bit and tasting the potential that is hidden in pharo. I recently saw a tweet from mr. Serge Stinckwich about how to build 2d buildings and rivers with the openstreetmap API and roassal as drawing support. I tried to replicate the code since I would like to play with it but I got some errors that I didn't menage to fix. So I was thinking to ask here if anyone has such code to share. Thanks in advance. Trouble opening large files

Hello, I've run into some odd behavior and wanted to check whether I might be missing something: I have downloaded a copy of the english wikipedia as an xml file and am hoping to (sax) parse it. However, I can't even seem to get pharo to recognize that the file exists. If I open FileSystem disk root in the playground and naigate, attempting to enter the folder containing the (57G) xml file fails with "MessageNotUnderstood: False>>humanReadableSIByteSize." Likewise if I get a FileReference with FileSystem disk root / 'path' / 'to' / 'file' then self exists returns false and the parser fails. Am I doing something wrong? Should I be able to do this?
