Making the halo around windows preview more contrasted

Hi all, As usual, when I put the mouse over the name of a window, a small preview appears with a grey allow with the full name of the window, but letters are white surrounded by a pale grey making the full name really difficult to read. There is any way to increase the contrast there between font and background? Thanks, Offray

Hi Udo, I've sent you an email. There will be two streams recorded from each room, one from the speakers laptop (needs to be vga) one from the camera. Camera operator only needs to point the camera in the right direction and press start/stop at the appropriate times. Organisation will either provide an application that can play both streams or mix them together somewhat like picture in picture. Last session is the introduction to smalltalk for non-smalltalk developers. That's hands-on and pair programming, not much need for video there. Stephan

Hi Udo, thanks for helping out. The gear is organized by Fosdem. Camera on tripod, Microphone for speaker and audience questions, Simultaneous recording of screen. Over 20 simultaneous livestreams. So there will be a user manual and a help desk. Stephan

Hi, beside the existing "OS-Windows" support for Windows operating system the "Pharo OS project" (http://smalltalkhub.com/#!/~OS) now also has new subprojects for "OS-Unix" and "OS-Linux-Ubuntu" with some initial support for these native platforms as well. You can load it from the config browser in Pharo 4.0. I guess the attached screenshot will explain it all... Bye T.

hello, would the book; smalltalk, objects and design by chamond liu be considered good to work through using "pharo"? i am currently working through; squeak, a quick trip to object-land. while nice as an introduction, doesn't feel like it might be deep enough for me as i progress further. i am looking at the pharo books, but, a previous discussion mentioned something about newer versions being in the works, would prefer to wait for them. ~mayuresh
