Loading Seaside via Bootstrap in Pharo 6

Hi, In my main project I depend on Torsten's Bootstrap project which then loads Seaside. I tried this today on Pharo 6 and it did not work (some internal Seaside dependency could not be resolved). I also noticed that the last commits on Bootstrap were from April 2016. My question now is: is this supposed to work on Pharo 6 ? Thx, Sven

Coding XPath as Smalltalk

Hello I am using XPath as a way of dissecting web pages, especially from Wiktionary. Generally I get good results, but I could get useful extra flexibility by using the binary Smalltalk operators to represent XPath, as mentioned at the end of the class comment for XPath. However, the description there is very terse, and I am having difficulty seeing how to include more complex expressions, especially attribute tests. I have put some of my XPath expressions through the XPath compiler and looked at the output, and out of that I have found expressions which work but look very clumsy. As an example, I have used the fragment: document xPath: '//div[@id=''catlinks'']//li//text()' and found that an equivalent is: document //'div' ?? [:node :x :y|(node attributeAt: 'id') = 'catlinks']//'li'//[:n| n isStringNode]]. (I had to put two dummy arguments in the three-argument block to get it to work.) Is there a more extensive explanation of the use of these binary operators? If not, could some kind person show me the most concise translation of the sample XPath above, to give me a start in working out more complex cases? Many thanks for any help. Peter Kenny

Ciao, i works with Pharo 4.0 environment. I have a class Product with some instance variable and the = method set to: = anItem anItem ifNil:[^false]. anItem class = self class ifFalse:[ ^false]. ^ rfrConsegna = anItem rfrConsegna and:[ rfrSubTable = anItem rfrSubTable and:[ rfrDcm = anItem rfrDcm and:[ indexRiga = anItem indexRiga and:[ referenceTime = anItem referenceTime and:[ consumer = anItem consumer and:[ item = anItem item and:[ opzioniVoce = anItem opzioniVoce ]]]]]]] Some of these variables are instances of classes with specific implementation and some variables themselves. I set the relative hash method to: hash ^ rfrConsegna hash bitXor:( rfrSubTable hash bitXor: ( rfrDcm hash bitXor: ( indexRiga hash bitXor: ( referenceTime hash bitXor: ( consumer hash bitXor: ( item hash bitXor: ( opzioniVoce hash ))))))) Now when add some setup instances of class Product to a bag, the relative inspector report some aProduct entry but with some Occurences of this set to 0. aProduct1 3 aProduct2 0 aProduct3 0 Some consideration about it ? Adding TextModel widgets dynamically into window

Hi! I need to add dynamically widgets of TextModel to the ComposableModel window. For example: The object of ComposableModel window is created and opened, and I have a button "Add", if I press the button new TextModel textbox added and showed at the window. Can anyone help me, please, what I need for implementation this logic? Typing a | character with a French AZERTY keybord : problem solved

Hi Everybody, Someone gave me the unique proper way to type a | , and I want to make it available to every person confronted to this problem. It's enough to maintaind the key AltGR and hit the kay 6 of the KBD (not the numeric pad). I'm not sure it will help anyone since I'm not sure someone as simple as me does exist. expanding Pharo window to left and Window positioning

Hi, what rules govern window positioning? I have a dual monitor setup and and sometimes extend the Pharo window over both of them; for some reason however World submorphs (all Windows) are locked to the left side, which is what I am dragging, so all the windows move to the secondary screen. If I expand the right side, then the windows don't move (but they are again on the wrong screen). Is it possible to change this behavior? I tried to change World listDirection but it had no effect.
