A benchmarking package or lib ?

Hi, is there any benchmark library for Pharo ? that would provide tools to choose metrics to measure between two versions of the same code and maybe display a comparison or something (whatever the form of the report) ? I've found BenchmarkResult in Pharo but it seems very basic, at least there are no detailed examples of how it could be used. I'm specifically looking for a way to measure the speed of method calls (if that is possible) or the memory usage, but i'm also curious in general about what is measureable and try different benchmarks to see the results. So if there were a tool already doing all this work... ? Steven.

How to add a contextual menu to a Spec ListModel

Hi, I am struggle a bit in find the right way to add a contextual menu to a Spec ListModel. Consider: ListModel new title: 'List Example'; items: Smalltalk allClasses; openWithSpec. I would like to add a right-click contextual menu to the list, with for example a 'Browse' action. I can't find such a simple example. I know there is a #menu: option, I can see some usages in my image, but they seem to do different things. What would be the recommended approach ? ListModel new title: 'List Example'; items: Smalltalk allClasses; "menu: [ ];" openWithSpec. Thanks, Sven PS: Probably the reference to the #selectedItem of the ListModel for the action is hard to write in a one-liner, that is not a requirement.

mark what you can also do is to generate the classes from the json we did that for certain libraries. There is however also something called NeoJSONObject, a Dictionary subclass that has some API that is quite fluent and that does include path style access. To get started, use NeoJSONObject class>>#fromString: as parser. Here is the class comment: === I am NeoJSONObject. I am a Dictionary. I behave more like a JavaScript object. I return nil for missing keys. I allow any property to be read or set by using a normal accessor message. The following are equivalent: self foo. self at: #foo. Hello, is there a way to query a JSON with a path (JSONPath or some custom format)? I want to query an API and collect the JSON responses, which I need to iterate over to extract some data. Modelling the JSON structure as classes would be too much overhead, I think. I just want to collect some values... Thanks in advance, Marc

Any implementation of GPG for Pharo?

Noncontiguous selections in FastTable?

Any way to get noncontiguous selection working in FTTableMorph in Pharo 5? In Windows I cannot get two non-consecutive items to be selected. Ctrl key causes menu to appear. Shift key only allows consecutive items. See for example this FastTable: | ds | ds := FTTreeDataSource roots: (1 to: 1000) children: [ :data :item | item depth even ifTrue: [ 1 to: data / 2 ] ifFalse: [ 1 to: data - 1 ] ]. FTTableMorph new extent: 200 @ 400; dataSource: ds; allowDeselection; beMultipleSelection; secondarySelectionColor: Color tan; openInWindow. Any help will be appreciated. Cheers, HernÃ¡n
