Hi I did not want to lose the work of Nicolas Cellier around alternate number parsers so I went back in Pharo 30 and packaged them as a separate package (may be it was already done but I could not find it). All the tests are green in Pharo 40. Next Pharo sprints

Hello, Next public Pharo sprints are now planned: http://pharo.org/news/Pharo-Sprints The next sprint will be on Friday, 3rd April, at Inria Lille. We also hope to plan more informal sprints every other Friday afternoon. If you have students who are working on (or with) Pharo, it could be interesting for them to be present (please tell them). For the private sprints, I do not know how we want them: - like public sprints but in a small group (bug hunt) - dedicated to one or several projects of team members JC

Hello, I tried to reproduce this bug, I have also an error with the same configuration. I don't have his problem, however when I quit Pharo, the connection shutdown makes Pharo crashes, but when I only do the connection shutdown, it works. Error while loading GitFileTree in Pharo 4.0

Whenever I click on Install stable version of GitFileTree (ThierryGoubier .33) in Configuration Browser in Pharo 4.0 , I get the error = The symbolic version #stable is not defined in Configuration GitFileTree for the current platform. Possible symbolic version values include : #(#bleedingEdge #development) Can anyone please help me out ?

Git refreshing

Hi, I'm facing a problem with branches and refreshing the code. Currently I handle (except for commits) everything from commandline, but the problem is that when I switch branches I don't know how to easily refresh the code. What I am doing now is running loading Baseline again, but that feels odd. Git revolves around branches, and being able to quickly create them, switch them, and merge them is important. So is there currently any solution that could resolve this? Maybe I could run some code that would simply load what is on the disk? If I switch branches for java code, the editor automatically loads new content without me needing to do any extra work; it would be nice to have something similar. Peter

Nicolas asked me the following questions and I was stuck :) Stef I have been doing some file intensive activities and found my program to be very slow. Just to be sure I ran them in Java and found it was much faster So I did a small test: --- i := 0. Some MongoTalk cleanups

Hi, cleaned up MongoTalk a little bit: - added a new baseline 1.7 with separate test packages for "BSON" and "Core", so tests are now separately loadable - more comments and more/better categorizations - printOn: in database and collections to print the name - MongoQueries is now "Mongo-Queries" and "Mongo-Tests-Queries" (hence the name of the first to be in alignment with other packages) - make Config aware/loadable for upcoming Pharo 4 - the Config now is working and saved with Versionner - the Config also includes groups (Core, Tests and default) - it is now available in MetaRepoForPharo40 so it is in the config browser of Pharo4 - all 55 tests are green in latest Pharo 4.0 #40534 Just cleanups, no behavior changes Bye T.

Woden-Roassal missing classes/examples not working

Hi, I was working on a project with a old woden implementation which is working just fine. But lately I tried to upload the latest version of woden and classes of the package called woden-roassal went missing as well as in woden-core package. This happens also with a new clean woden image. The classes I am talking about are (just some of the actual missing ones): RWViewWindow and WDApplication. Those are the ones I noticed that are missing but most likely also some others are. Moreover the basic examples provided in woden do not work either. Anyone knows what's going on? Cheers, Nicolas
