[ANN] Public Pharo Sprint in Lille

Hi, We are often doing Sprints the friday afternoon here in the team. For the following dates we plan to have larger sprints (e.g. with food organised): Friday, Feb 14 Friday, March 7 Friday, April 11 Friday, May 23 Where? Inria Lille, Building B If you happen to be close some other Friday, feel free to join the smaller sprint, too. And people can organise sprints everywhere, so feel free to organise one yourself at your location. The idea of the sprint is to do either boring or complex things that nobody found the energy to do alone. On the last Sprint before Christmas we killed 30 bugs, for example. Marcus

Currently Roassal ask the system settings for the current fonts. I suggest you do the following: World Menu > System > Settings > Appearance: - Activate Use Free type... (If is already activated, deactivate it and activate it again). - Standard Fonts > Select the fonts you want to use. In a Moose 5.0 Image that worked for me, if you have any issue with that please let us know. I have used Prolog DCGs to mess around with this kind of thing, and if you have a lot of control over the input and your expectations you can make progress with a tool for formal languages, but if you want to do something sophisticated or support arbitrary inputs, you're probably wasting your time. -- Daniel Lyons

Hi All, I moved to Pharo3. The same error. I figured out that sunburst needed an Athens canvas. I figure out how to configure that evaluating: ROPlatform setCurrent: 'athens' The visualization shows up!!, but as soon as I pass the mouse cursor in front of the visualization window, I get a red window saying that: StrikeFont does not understand #glyphRendererOn: 1) Due to sunburst is platform dependent I suggest to add some check in order to inform the user that it needs Athens instead of morphic canvas. 2) Any hint on how to fix the #glyphRendererOn: MNU ? I found that FreeType and Logical fonts implement that message, but I cannot figure out how to tell Roassal to use such fonts. Have you started with more basic examples e.g. "Morph new openInWorld"? There are some great examples on the old Squeak wiki, especially about layout. which pharo version? Yes, in Pharo2 this does not work anymore. And in Pharo3 there is not even a HierarchyBrowser anymore. Nautilus error

I am trying to understand Morphs by looking at how the Workspace and Browsers are created; however, I get a Nautilus error when I "DoIt" on the following HierarchyBrowser newFor: Boolean. That code is in the comments section for that class. Does the HierarchyBrowser no longer work or am I doing something wrong?
