There is no VMMaker UI tool anymore for the PharoVM. For continuous integration, it sucks anyway. So, you have the VMBuilders and CMake related classes. I like that better. There are options in each build method for specifying which plugins are to be used. e.g. do not use the ObjectiveC bridge in Windows... Thank you. It is not about how to build a vm. I do have some experience on this (mostly squeak vm). But I find it rather difficult to follow the current active way on doing so. In Mariano blogs he is using vmmaker tool as well. It just didn't work for pharo anymore. For example, you can load vmmaker packages. (really difficult on with a normal image (you need all kind of dependent packages), or you can use the generator.image from pharo.src. But VMMakerTool openInWorld fails. Thank you. I thought the pharo vmbuilder way is only for cog-vms, and the traditional way for the interpreter vm would still work. Well use the generator image you can find on the pharo repo, it is hard to build such an image by hand. This code: Primitives lookupDirectory: encodedPath filename: encodedBasename Should be: FilePluginPrims lookupDirectory: encodedPath filename: encodedBasename Now I don't why this was not correct (File management is pure magic to me). I would recommend you to post question about VMMaker not in this mailing list, because few people can answer here, but instead in the pharo-dev mailing list OR Squeak-vm-dev. I am suprised there is some code that I can not find the source for. I know people don't usually make announcements of this kind here, but I've gotten much help from this list on SerialPlugin and NativeBoost questions, so I wanted to let you know I've managed to release the pre-alpha version of Snap4Arduino. Snap! is a Scratch reimplementation written in Javascript by Jens MÃ¶nig and Brian Harvey, with advanced programming concepts such as first order functions, closures or continuations. NativeBoost: Regenerate Native Code

How do I tell NativeBoost to regenerate all naive code for a class e.g. after changing the implementation of #nbCallingConvention? N.B. to NativeBoost newbies like myself, this is a *huge* potential pitfall that's difficult to diagnose. Hi Joachim, Yes, you are right - system doesn't allow run app from uncertified developer. But in my case, "ctrl + Open" isn't helping me. My solution: open system preferences -> Security & Privacy -> general tab and set option "Allow apps downloaded from:" to "anywhere". After opening app at first time, you can set back this option to "App store and identified developers". [Voyage] #selectAll:sortBy: not implemented?

Hi all! I've recently started to use MongoDB and Voyage in a project of my work (I find it too interesting!) following this tutorial: https://ci.inria.fr/pharo-contribution/job/PharoForTheEnterprise/lastSucces… I've been facing issues to sort the elements of my database, specifically using the /selectAllSortBy:/ message, which I see is not fully implemented. Maybe I am wrong? Instead of this, I used /selectMany:sortBy:/ and it does the trick, but I'd like to know if the previous one will be implemented some day. MCRepository can notify by email, did you know?

Hi, I just discovered this feature and wanted to share it: When a version is saved, the file repositories check if a file named 'notify' exists in the repository directory [1]. If it exists, then it reads email addresses from that file and send emails notifying the new version [2]. We noticed with Camillo that this seems to be the only usage of SMTPClient in the image. I had similar issues in the past with a few companies that made stickers for us. Apparently good looking stickers are harder to produce than one might think, I take no chances anymore in that matter, and that's why I recommend Sticker Mule, the quality of the sticker alone will make you want to have one. yes I am looking at Roassal and definetly it gives a good insight into Athens. Igor you are correct from what I see from the algorithms for finding if a point passes through a curve the work in kinda similar ground. I have to confess I have not looked into it yet, cause I am trying to solve some other problems but I will definitely need this. Right now I try to figure out how to implement my GUI , I want to support Spec so the gui elements ( lets say a button) is rendered by Athens but also called by Spec. Also I want to make something that will easy to port once Athens becomes the main render engine of Pharo and replaces Morphic rendering.
