Hi Hubert, I've no experience with the Morphic Designer under Pharo yet. Actually, it works fine with Squeak 4.3. I assume, that there could be a problem with either the Animations package or the Signals package, which both rely on some specific core functionality. I'll have a look at this. Some time ago I managed to load Designer manually as recommended by Igor Stasenko. A Theather will probably have many MovieShow's, which will have in which room it will be shown, the showtime, and the actual movie title, which may be the same but with variants (translated, subtitled, 3D, imax, or those combined), you could also reify the combinations based on language, subtitles (lang, or none), etc. And this is an overly simplified analysis of a domain I barely know. Magritte provides descriptions for these relations, and will create editors based on such relations. I don't know if there is any Magritte-Glorp integration to manage that. And it looks like Designer is targeting Squeak, so it may not work out of the box on Pharo (otherwise authors would provide loading instructions for Pharo as well). So, even if you will be able to load it successfully, there's no guarantee that it will work out of the box. Try: ConfigurationOfDesigner project latestVersion load. It looks like its being maintained for Squeak but not Pharo. It probably won't be difficult to fix whatever doesn't work but there are no guarantees. Thanks. We are working on making sure that in the future you will be able to deploy applications with only what is needed by construction but I will take time before getting there. The work done by pavel on miniKernel and the work of guillermo around hazelnut and candlelight are clearly experiments we want to benefit from.
