Downloading a JPEG

Is there a way to save a JPEG from the web to a file in Pharo? I can open it as a Form, but I also want a copy of the original saved. Thanks. There should be no license concern. The named serial support is provided in the SerialPlugin, and the update is of course MIT. Background is here: http://bugs.squeak.org/view.php?id=7266 I don't think that patches are included in the oscog branch yet (but I am not able to check right now, sorry). In any case, don't worry about the license. Yes so I would ban the code and we will fix it ourselves. We do not want to end in 30 different variant of the MIT license. They should not have change the license like that.... I haven't looked at the official license.txt, but the summary looks quite a bit different than what I (or the GNU foundation) consider "the" MIT license, at http://www.jclark.com/xml/copying.txt. Serial Port

I do not know if an API exist for this kind of stuff, but it could be really cool to add one ^^ I think that you should basically add a drawing method which take a rectangle as a parameter and display this rectangle from your original world's representation. For scrolling, just adjust the rectangle. TestMock v-9 published; now works with Pharo 1.1.1

Dear Smalltalkers, I am glad to make an updated version (v9) of the mocking framework TestMock available with added Pharo 1.1.1 support. Previously reported v8 issues arising from the deprecation of KeyedSet and some other changes with TestCase and Boolean classes in Pharo 1.1.1 have been fixed. Scrolling in a Morphic game

Hello, I am developing a game in Morphic -- nothing serious; just a spare time project -- and I have come to a tricky part: the viewport. So far, I have just put my Morphs in a PasteUpMorph for testing, but now I need to have a viewport to a (game) world that is larger than the screen, and be able to pan/scroll the view around the world. I really have no idea how I could or should do this in Morphic. Maybe subclass PasteUpMorph and override #drawSubmorphs? Can anyone here offer any advice with this? Regards, Aidan

I could reproduce it. Myabe I am saying something stupid, but didn't Cmd+. depends on the process priority?
