Can I code a web browser in a Pharo GUI window (Morphic or other)?

Hi, for a project I need this kind of program: 1. client side only 2. must be able to programmatically show a web browser in a window (Morphic??); only local content will be shown 3. must also be able to show other windows, containing simple games Now, I guess that 1 and 3 are possible straight away, but I am unsure about option 2. I found out that there are a few ways to do it: - using C#, which has: - standard web browser control out-of-the-box - third-party open source chromium web browser component - using Java, which (afaict) is a coding effort, but possible anyway That saiud, since I'd very much like to start using Pharo for more tasks (just starting) I wonder if Pharo has something to offer in this case. Hi Denis, Thanks for the fast response. When you say proper fix, do you mean a general fix for all TestResources or do you mean the fix for my situation? I can't oversee (yet) what the effect will be of halt/debug code inside the web application (TestResource) which is the subject of the TestCase. Normally this gets caught and handled specifically. And proper termination of those forked processes from the TestResource will need to be handled specifically (similar to the TestExecutionEnvironment :-) in the resource #tearDown. Will try it out. Even the IPFS command-line client does that. The advantage is that you have only one data repository per machine, rather than one per process. Thank you Alex! You made my day. Using your suggestion the video is playing more smoothly. Better than that, I've managed the C library to get the frame data from OpenCV in BGRA format in order to be able to use the BlExternalForm, but now I can use directly BGR and save all those alpha bytes. However, I've noticed that if I try to update my custom Bloc element each time a new detected frame is available I get an empty window. Only when I force a small delay (like 5 milliseconds) between frames I can see the video playing in the window. An example of the code I'm running on a Playground would be like the following: detector := OCVBlobDetector createOn: 0. aSpace := BlSpace new extent: 740@580; title: 'OpenCV Frame'. aSpace root background: Color gray asBlBackground. frameElement := (OCVBlocDetectionElement on: detector detect) relocate: 50@50; yourself. aSpace root addChild: frameElement. aSpace show. detector live: [ :detection | frameElement detection: detection. frameElement invalidate. 5 milliSeconds wait. ].
